Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters

For those of you that follow Prime, what's your take on the direction Season 3 is taking? I personally would love to see Thundertron and his new faction called the Star Seekers kick major Autobot/Decepticon tail. I'm liking what they've done so far with Seasons 1 & 2, so much so I collect the line and own the boxset, just hope they don't screw up the formula in Season 3.

I'm interested, however, season 1, for the most part, was terrible, the opener was rather dragged out and boring, I lost interest in the series shortly after Megatron's revival, until I read about the titles of the eps that made up the finally of season 1, so I had to watch those eps then! Season 2, hooked me completely, thou I did feel, they seem to have forgotten all about Unicron in the post Orion Pax story eps! With Unicron, I felt he could of been a much greater threat than he was made out to be!

Anyway, I really enjoyed season 2 finally, I wonder what will happen next and I do hope the next TF to die is Bumblebee because I simply don't like what they done to him, its any wonder, his toys sell, who wants a robot that makes a load of beeping noises every ep! Which is why I have passed upon his toys, they really need to make BB a proper character with a proper voice, but that's unlikely to happen until whatever takes over from Prime!

G1 Bumblebee voiced by Dan Gilvezan is history. Though the man must feel honored at this point. I think the reason most G1 fans can't identify with the character not only has to do with the voice but also his size. What happened to the days when Transformers cartoons actually showed scale?? I want to see a range of heights when it comes to Transformers characters and the roles they play. They're not all supposed to be the same height Hasbro!

They've lost me before this series even starts....just from looking at the toy aesthetics. Not only that, Prime in general lost its magic with me. Let me know how it goes, though. I've got other more interesting programming to watch.

My advice, go and watch the last couple of eps of season 2, the cliffhanger is rather dramatic, better than season 1's cliffhanger, of course, most of season 2 has been far superior to season 1

At the mo, as it stands, I'm a little disappointed in Predaking, looks bad ass, acts it in beast mode, but I really wanted him to transform to robot mode and speak properly, I'm also, not keen upon Ultra Magnus's voice, at the mo!

Just watched the latest ep from Youtube, pretty good ep thou I do kind of wonder why Darkmount collapsed so much after one barrage of human missiles, I was hoping the fortress would be playing a critical roll for the rest of the season!

Continuity questions are nothing new, with this particular franchise lol.

I would assume it had to do with OP lobbing Megs through that blue light, which presumably knocked all defences offline.

(Blue light? It's early here. Just woke up.)

Just watched the latest ep, best quote comes from the robot with no sense of humour "What's a kilt?"

Overall, a pity action packed ep, however I don't like Smokescreen's new paint job, its pointless for him to change paint job in my view, unlike BB, who spent two seasons as yellow with black strips! Anyway, I look forward to next week's ep, we see Magnus and the wreckers in action! For this week's ep, I give it a 4/5

Hasbro just announced that, for the first time ever in Transformers Prime, Bumblebee will speak in the episode airing July 26th! Fans at San Diego Comic-Con will get a sneak peek at Bumblebee's voice during the Transformers Prime Beast Hunters panel this Thursday at 11 am PT!

I expect it will be a lame voice, besides its far to late to save the character, the beeps have driven many a fan away from him because its annoying and wasteful, if you want a mute, do a Soundwave, cool, calm and dead quiet, when speaks he gets a classics yet awesome line!

 Unless it's Dan Gilvezan. Then it will just be epic and everyone will clamor for more.

 I doubt very much fans will clamor for more from whoever takes on the role because its far to late to save the show and BB from oblivion!
