TW-02 Orion

From the makers of Hegemon, I give you Optimus Prime!!! NOW THIS IS THE OPTIMUS I'VE BEEN WAITING ON! I missed out on iGears Faith Leader and now I'm glad I did as #1: I would have overpaid for him (aftermarket) and #2: He would have been too big to scale with Hegemon. This Prime will be able to look Hegemon dead in his eyes! So fucking can not wait for this! Pre-ordered on site once they go up!

But now Hegemon looks stupid 'cause he's not a stealth jet next to that Optimus.

I'll pass on this, simply because I got plenty of primes in my collection and I never bothered with Hegemon, the way I see it, the Henkei Megatron best suits the classics line, sure the toy not without its flaws but I still like it!

Hegemon just scratched his titanium testicles and laughed at that comment. Now I have to get up and wipe up the metal shavings from my display case. But for those out there seeking IDW comic accuracy in plastic form, I give you the deluxe sized Generations Megatron (2013). I'm sure Hasbro has an Optimus Prime (probably a deluxe) in the works for their Generations line, but this here Voyager is the one for me. It will be a most welcome replacement over my current Classics Optimus that has half a truck cab hanging off each forearm...

For some reason, looking at the head in that image, it kind of reminds me of Power Master Optimus head from G1 season five:

The head could use some work, but everything else kicks ass (imo). Anyways, it's still a vast improvement over the outdated 2007 Classics Optimus that's my current stand-in. That mold's just hideous in comparison:

Since I collect all things Optimus Prime and Megatron, I will also will be preordering this Hegemon Prime!  I missed out on the Hegemon Megatron, got to get him too!

I'm passing still, got plenty of Optimus prime earth modes, what we need is a cybertron mode of Optimus as a voyager or a leader class, we had lots of Earth mode toys in voyager class but never a Cybertron mode in that class, and I have collected all five of the Cybertron forms of Optimus

 Found you a Hegemon @ retail price! Anyone thinking about jumping on board the 3rd party train....I strongly suggest Hegemon as their 1st Decepticon purchase. Quality and Leadership doesn't get any stronger than that figure. As for TW-02 Optimus Prime, I can't wait for pre-orders to go up on this figure. I'm in like Flynn! And Classics Optimus can go kick rocks once he arrives.

Supposedly, they're working on an IDW stealth bomber Megatron that may be to scale with this guy. Ultra Magnus too.

Well. It looks like this guy has arrived and is in stock at many online retailers. I'm going to have to pass for now, only so far my wallet will stretch. Classics Prime still looks good in my CHUG collection anyways, with FOC Grimlock the only figure being a smidgeon taller.

I'm skipping this as well, my Henkei prime looks fine to serve as my classics Optimus!
