Re: Masterpiece Toys
I bought the Wal-Mart Starcream when it came out. I really don't like to take toys out of the package, but when I looked a him, I asked myself, "Do I really want to throw $50.00 and tax on the wall when I can't transform it?" The answer was no, so I never did.
Did that edition come with a little Dr. Arkeville too?
Did Masterpiece Grimlock ever come out? If it did, how easy is it to work with, and overall how did he look to you collectors?
I have Masterpiece Megatron I transformed once, and like ot have never got back right, and a 20th anniversary DVD 'Prime I displayed for awhile and put up. He's never been a truck in his life.
Aren't I adventurous?

Is this a type-o, or some kind of slang I don't understand?

Common Decepticon practise is it?
I sadly don't have any Masterpieces yet, it seems I have a knack for spending tons of money on loads of figures, but get all Mr.sensible about spending lots for one figure...

I have several of the MP figures: Two different versions of Optimus Prime and their trailers, MP Megatron. MP Starscream, and of course one of my most favorites MP Grimlock!

Re: Masterpiece Toys
Question:
When I start looking for Masterpieces, I'd like to get Optimus first. There are two versions I'm aware of, MP-01 and MP-04; which to go for? I assume the MP-04 is quite a bit more expensive because of the trailer, is it worth the extra outlay? And lastly, what kind of money should I expect to pay for a MI(S)B?

Re: Masterpiece Toys
I think CM can help with that question. A3, why are MP Grimmy's eyes blue? That's weird. Were they blue in the toon? I can't recall. On the box they are pictured red, also!

You can swap between red and blue eyes on grimmy. {Both modes, I think red looks better} ;)

Re: Masterpiece Toys
I think that the MP Seeker jets are fairly easy to Transform compared to the others in the series, but they are still complicated overall. What this means is that they are not on the same difficulty level as good ol' Masterpiece Megs.
