My Collection

I think I'll show this off here

I collect a lot of various things Transformers is among what I collect but I collect mostly Sci-fi Series Related stuff like Star Wars,Star Trek,Stargate and Anime Figures. I also collect Art Work from Aspen Comic's Fathom/Soulfire Series. More stuff comes in every other week and the collection Grows every month.

I've been collecting for the last 7-8 Years Solid and I've had to have my own blog to help keep up with everything too.

I'll try to be more active here-Though the site's visual appearance isn't that good on the eyes at times-

I collect a lot of things yet I'm working on spending less time on the internet these days and so I'll try to fit the Lair into my weekly routine.

I should have some more stuff coming in, I am trading off two of my Star Trek ships in my next trade with my friend I'm getting stuff from this coming week [A Y-Wing, Darth Vader's TIE Advanced plus some Rebel Troopers from him] Also getting a TIE Fighter in next week along with the Transformers Generations Voyager Class Blitzwing and Springer[FINALLY!!]

Got at least 3-4 more items to take care of the end of this month: Alpha Max's To Luv Ru Darkness Momo Swimsuit Figure, Max Factory's Muv Luv Alternative Total Eclipse Cryska Figma,and the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Toys R Us Exclusive Legacy Megazord coming from TRU.

Plus I've got another Aspen Comic Art Print on Reserve, probably one or two more depending on what gets my eye next convention....Always adding more in.

Right now working on getting an TIE Interceptor,A-Wing Fighter,and another Power of the Force TIE Fighter new in Package for the collection. I will never be through collecting, even cutting down and streamlining my collecting to where it's less than what I previously got it's still a lot.

-That's not counting the comics I get in every month-

I make sure this collection LOOKS good, I try to also make it a bit more Reserved yet some things are quite sexy [Princess Leia's Slave Leia figures being among that] I collect the items that look good to me or have a Nostalgic Value.

Exactly. I learned my lesson with TF: Prime (figure sales are tanking now) and will no longer impulse buy just because of a lines popularity.

The 1997 Trendmasters Voltron
The Matty Collector Exclusive Voltron [It's by Sheer Luck I was able to even get Black Lion and complete the set,was probably one of the most expensive things I've bought in a while]

The Star Wars Y-Wing arrived yesterday that was part of my Trade deal with my buddy that I get my Star Wars stuff from.

Nice! I like the detailing/panel lining done on that too!

With you, yes, but you are a lot like Pringles, once you pop, you can't stop!

Money can be a pain for TF as well, sometimes, there's to many cool looking figures around, espaically these days with not just Hasbro figures but third party ones and various accessories to make figures look more complete or as they should be! Thou I've been thinking, probably after Beast Hunters I'll stop collecting, at least majorly, but there are various characters who need/deserve toys to be made of them, based upon their G1 looks, I got four in mind and each of those four names start with the same letter :S!!

You are correct, sir! In regards to Scorponok, for the mo, the best thing to do is get the Energon Scorponok figure, that's a descent figure, at least until someone does a leader class sized figure, if a third party takes up that cause, it be rather expensive! Anyway, I really do want to see some Dinobots given toys, I really hoped with Beast Hunters, Hasbro would do them, so far Grimlock had five toys that I'm aware of in the post G1 years, where's his boyz, only gotten a total of three that I can think of, Swoop having two, Slag having just one!

I'm paid for my Springer/Blitzwing pre-order upfront with TfSource and they STILL don't have them in stock!   Now I can find both easily at my local Wal-Mart but refuse to buy them based on principle that I've purchased them already.   Must.....have......patience.  

Be sure and post pics of that TIE Fighter when it comes in!

I'm also waiting for my Springer and Blizwing from Forbidden Planet but their not due in yet, not until about the 7th of July, so its a waiting game on them!

PHEW! I'm tired from doing photos of what all came in today! Plus I got a lot to work with now...

Being one of those HOT Days here and I'll just work on Blitzwing's Entry Tomorrow....Got another TIE Fighter coming in next week so I'll be expecting in a Star Wars TIE Interceptor,TIE Fighter,and A-Wing Starfighter. Course then it'll be time for two Pre-Orders to get paid for plus at least 2 Art Prints to take care of getting since I'll be reserving one or two Prints from the upcoming Las Vegas Comic Con that's soon probably tonight.

I'll be glad to get to next month when there won't be much to deal with that will be coming in.

Who'd you order your Generations figures from? Also, checked out your blog. Nice work there! Really enjoyed the read/reviews. Also didn't know the Large Wing TIE Fighter was that freaking huge!

I got my Generations Voyagers from BBTS [Took a long while and that is prob one of the few things I've cancelled and then ordered again more than once but the price was right and every time we checked at Target locally they didn't have them so stuck with the Pre-Order]


The Large Wing TIE Fighter is HUGE since it just looks more like a good display piece rather than a Toy compared to the old TIE Fighter. Should be the last additions till next week when the other vehicles arrive, I'll have to get Blitzwing finished up Tomorrow.

I will also be getting back to my outside photography since taking some night time shots tonight need to get back onto working on learning more on this camera's settings.

Got a lot more coming in! And today been working with Photos also got my TIE Interceptor in!

That Light Box is AWESOME! How much do one of those run and who carries it?

The Light box is nothing more than 20x30 Foam Boards, there are three taped together to form the back,top,and bottom and two slid in to make the walls.
