Re: The first G-1 memory
My first memory was when i received my G1 Optimus Prime when I was 6;I was watching season 1 for first time just during that period(I watched a LOT of toons in those years...) so I was very happy.Great toy and character....then just few weeks later I found on a magazione pics of G1 constructicons and so I absolutely wanted Devastator!
It was July and I received the combiner big box just at christmas but the waiting was well repaid when i could open and play with him for the fist time.

Re: The first G-1 memory
I'm a bit younger than you all at age 21, when I was born the tv series was still brand new though. I caught them for the most part in the re-run era of the early 90s, and i remember helping my cousin put devestator together. he had an astrotrain too, and told me whenever I came to grandmas (where he lived) that he was my toy, but I couldn't take him home.
Needless to say I was at grandmas alot......and thus the name I go by now

Re: The first G-1 memory
I remember walking into a Ben Franklin Craft store(pre-walmart days 1986 ) in Muleshoe, Texas and walking around, got ready to leave and somehow I had missed an ailse and there behold was an aisle full of G1 Transformers! I scored BIG that day! (LOL) I walked away with ALL the G1 Dinobots, ALL the G1 Jets and several other G1 figures! Ah! Those were such happy days! :lol!:

Re: The first G-1 memory
Well,i know the cost of Megatron, Devastator, Defensor and a few others. Those were about 40$ here.
Make it three. One MISB, one loose and one to sell!

I would buy 2 of each
