My Construx thread
So, I got these Construx sets, and I built this ship. I tried to use every piece, but I still had a few nuts left over. I'm taking the ship apart because it take up a bit too much room, and I wanna try to build a base so I took a bunch of pix of it. I spent a good bit of time building it, I was kinda sad when I took it all apart.
The underside has a little compartment for this roller to fit in. The black bar hanging down is on a hinge nut, so it swings down.
It's hard to get a pic of that. Look at all them wires!
(underside) I had all those wires tucked away and strung under there perfectly!
Hatches open, and you can see the light box and the roller behind it.
All lit up!

Here's the base I built. I don't have a ton of parts, but I wanted it to have 3 levels and a hanger. It's a bit flimsy, but works well.

Sweet! I haven't seen Construx in ages, you could make a nice Cybertron scene with those.

I used to love construx, I still have a box of them somewhere since I kept all of my childhood toys, hmm, might have to dig those out and take some pics for here.

Re: My Construx thread
Here's some crap I did a while ago, when I got some new sets. I got the military ones at a garage sale for like $5!
This one turned out looking just like the GI Joe Awe Striker.
This one's the first one I did, my favorite, and looks like a Joe Pac Rat to me.
If anyone has these parts in their piles, I could use them. The long metal thing is an axle and has a "V" groove cut in it. I need one!!! The other thing is a connector, and I could use a ton of them. Silver would be better, but any color would work.
I got this one from eBay.

Those are pretty cool! I'd be too tempted to stick 3 3/4" G.I. Joes in the military vehicles, myself. Probably wouldn't fit anyways. :P

I don't know if I posted his link before, but I know this guy from another forum. http://construxion.tripod.com/

It's only a matter of time before your creations take over the world!

Ramjet's creations will be great soldiers for the Decepticon cause. Perhaps even better than the ones I got now.

Perhaps, but not as rich.

Re: My Construx thread
I built this one first, but posted second as he's a little more impressive. It's head and cannon hand and chest light up, but I can't get a good pic of it.
Re: My Construx thread
Aww look at the little Prime!
So then, what's next? Have you run out of bits yet?

Re: My Construx thread
Well, since you asked-here's the last one I just did. When I get sick of these, I'm gonna build one gigantic robot out of all 3 sets.
