KMC VS HOS and G1 Overlord

Here's pics of my latest purchases. Knight Morpher Commander compared to HOS Custom Prime by Eric Chan and painting by Sabrina!And finally a completed near mint conditioned G1 Overlord. Only missing some smaller rader type pieces.

very, very nice - the Knightmorpher's are awesome. When I saw those first, I didn't realise they were that big :)

I can only hope Mastermind Creations will continue to put out more HOS Transformers.  I recently captured a KM-03 Cyclops (HOS Shockwave.) he is awesome, but alittle fragile in transformation. I need to save up and purchase the HOS Jets, Screecher, Warper, etc...

I would love to see HOS Megatron ( this is someone's custom)

I believe MMC has moved on from the Knight Morpher stuff, at least for now. I'm currently looking forward to the first in their Reformatted line, Terminus Hexatron. (based on Sixshot)

Wow! Just now seen this thread.   Those KM's are pretty cool, but what I'm really jealous over is that G1 Overlord. Any QC issues with your figures WJ? I've heard MMC had issues with the Knight Morpher line in that regard?

I have not had any problems with my figures.  But then I haven't tried transforming them too much.

The Knight Morpher Commander did have some issues with the initial run. Rather than let that shut them down, they went back and fixed virtually EVERYTHING with the mold for KM-02 Knight Morpher Annihilator. They then proceeded to do another run of the Commander with the fixes present in Annihilator. For further proof, go watch Vange1us' reviews of the Commander and Annihilator. I've described the ins and outs of Cyclops in my review, (shameless plug) but it boils down to just how insane the design is, pushing things to their limit. I've heard that the Airborne Squad is considerably more toned down in craziness than Cyclops, just don't grab onto the gears on the lower leg and try not to poke yourself on all the sharp points.

Essentially, this is a company that learns from its mistakes and gaffs and immediately sets out to get them fixed. They've also got a guy on the designing team on the TFW2005 boards, so they're at least very aware of what fans think of their products and where they can try to improve. Not every third party company can say that, now can they?
