G1-ish Arcee Figure Review

Post by Marlboor WJ on Mon Jul 19, 2010 3:54 am

I have waited for 26 years to finally see a G1-ish Arcee transforming figure to be released. It's a shame that Hasbro didn't release her, but a third party company...impossible toys. This figure is as close to the real character..however I am alittle disappointed in the actual size of her! She is a lot smaller than I was led to believe in seeing pics of her. She is only 4 inches long in car mode and 5 1/2 inches tall. She has ball joints, the knees bend and her head bents forward and backward, but not side to side. Easy to transform, but a little top heavy and doesn't stand easily. And the chest section is only attached by to small slots in robot mode and do not stay to together very well. And probably the worst part is her price...$69.99! If she were bigger, maybe...but 51/2 inches tall...kinda pricy!

HOWEVER....I have waited for a G1ish Arcee figure, like forever! I'm glad I have her! There is a repaint of this figure as G1 Nightbird from the G1 series...HOWEVER not gonna pay $130 for her!

Here's the pics of G1 Arcee:

I agree with BB. The size is a really good scale seeing her next to the others.

SIMPLY WOW!

Hasbro should be kicking themselves in the driveshafts for not making a g1 Arcee.
Imagine the money they would make.
