Teaser image for MP-20

A teaser silhouette has recently been revealed for MP-20 Wheeljack. Link, and mirrored image below.



Also, apparently the lead designer for the Masterpiece figures, Shogo Hasui, has been replaced by none other than Hironori Kobayashi, the designer for the line who was responsible for MP-1 through MP-9. Link.

Pass, I'm not getting the MP figures, besides they would take up valuable space, thou only one I got my sights set upon is Star Saber, he going to be a must have!

Definite purchase for me. Not a fan of the feet, hand kibble or mirrors on the legs....but I'm sure color pictures will have me feeling better about all of those.

Well it depends on what all Star Saber does. I don't care if he loses the base mode, that was laughable even on the original toy, but it would be nice if he can convert into his unarmored robot mode. The Brainmaster gimmick could be neat as well if it doesn't sacrifice neck articulation to do it.

As for Wheeljack, where his feet all that different in the cartoon? (granted you didn't see the heel part) The mirrors I don't think are all that obtrusive, at least if they end up being white. And the hand kibble...well, that's unfortunate. At the very least, this has gotten people talking.

Also, Wheeljack seems to be due out August 23, 2014. Of course, if demand skyrockets for him or something he might get delayed.

I was hoping he'd be out sooner than that. The release date is the most disappointing thing of all, to me. Having to wait so long in between MP releases when we were spoiled rotten the last quarter of 2013.

I expect they'll spoil you rotten towards the end of 2014, besides, in the middle, we have to contend with TF$ AOE!

yeah I hope 2014 isn't disappointing because there really hasn't been much announced that has impressed me yet.

If it's anything like the previous 3 movies, I won't even bother. I'll keep a close eye on the Generations line though. And there's always 3rd party to take my money....

Yeah, a lot of the movie figures haven't been great, thou with the few exceptions, example, ROTF Jolt, I come to love that figure, espaically since he got next to no bio, it enabled me to turn him into a Time travelling Autobot from the future, whose work is never done!
