TFC Hercules has been a pretty long running project, and is the first third party stand alone combiner. For those who could not, or simply didn't want to buy these six figures, I'll show off a few pictures of the team.

Here they are in their construction vehicle modes. A loader, a crane, a cement mixer, a bulldozer, an excavator, and a dump truck. These guys are big, with each one being roughly the size and weight of a Voyager class figure. It's possible to string up the hook of Hoo - I mean, Dr. Crank, but one has to do that themselves. Only Long...Heavy Labor lacks the ability to do something similar to what the real vehicle would do, in this case tip the bucket back and dump stuff. He can still carry stuff though.

Their individual robot modes bear a resemblance to a certain G1 combiner team, but I can't put my finger on which one. Weird... And where did Bonecrush - uh, Neckbreaker get that cheering mitt? Moving right along, Mix...Mad Blender is showing off his crazy amount of weapons he cleverly disguises as a seemingly innocent mixing drum. Exgraver can Scavenger his own digger arm for use as a weapon on his left arm. And Scrap...*ahem*Structor has use of wings for extra craziness.

But no one started viewing this for the individuals, did they? No. No, you want to see Hercules, Devastator of Wallets, right?

Well here we are. This thing is MASSIVE. And heavy! The crane boom makes him a bit back heavy, however. Putting the combined rifle in his hand seems to help though. Neckbreaker is a tad weak as an arm, mostly because his head is still kinda visible. The bulldozer blade doesn't stay together over the shoulder, so it may be a bit harder to tell what it is in this mode. And as heavy he is, Hercules is decently articulated and pose-able.

Overall, I quite like this team, and their combined form! But there's some upstart combiner of construction vehicles just over the horizon. Calling himself Giant, even though Hercules is clearly larger. Time will tell how that will compare to this.*

*note that this review was completed before either version of Maketoy's Giant was released. I don't own either version of Giant and thus can't properly review that set.

Excellent review, DB! TFC Toys Hercules, Devastator of Wallets 4081692689I, myself own this behemoth and can't recommend him highly enough. If you're looking for a titan this should be your choice over MakeToys Giant. Though the latter, does scale much better if you're already invested in other 3rd party Decepticon combiners such as FansProject's Colossus (Bruticus) and Intimidator (Menasor).

I'm "this'' close to pulling the trigger on the Rage of Hercules set which is sold out everywhere except for Toy Arena. And they haven't marked the price up absurdly, just yet. The only thing keeping me from doing it is, the possibility of another FansProject Stunticon going up for pre-order but I have a close watch on their (TA) stock count and if it starts to dip, then I'm all in. The add on kit with: extra head/face, shoulder extensions, forearm extensions (with articulated elbows) and G1 accurate rifle makes the Rage of Hercules add on set a must have for me!

Aye, but MMC Feral Rex, their take on Predaking, will be at least as big as Herules here. If not a bit larger. And there's also TFC Toys' Uranos, styled after Superion. And DAT PROJECT X GENESIS! (granted that's WFC Omega Supreme, but still!) TFC Toys Hercules, Devastator of Wallets 2387384449
