What should the next Transformers cartoon series be? I vote for a War Within or Hearts of Steel series. I think a Classic series would be cool too. Or perhaps a a twist....Shaattered Glas series where Megatron/Decepticons is the good faction and Optimis/Autobots are the evil faction! That would be interesting! What do the rest of you guys think?

Those would all be cool, but if they did WW or HoS, they would have to cheesey them up so kids would watch. I would rather NOT see those 2 for that reason.

I have always wanted to see the WWI cartoon series. The "unfinished" comic story is outstanding.
But Ramjet is right, the story is very dark in nature and Hasbro would have to lighten it up for the younger viewers. And I would not want to see that either.

On the other hand, if they made a "prime time" series, WWI would be perfect.

I wish they would continue with the ANIMATED story, but that's not going to happen.

A continue of the live movie would be neat. You would be able to be introduced to more characters that don't appear in the movie much (exa: Jolt / Ratchet / Sideswipe)

Whatever it's going to be, I doubt it will be any of my suggestions.
I just hope it's cool.

I want a G1 like series next using the Transformers Universe Classics designs, that would be cool.

Last I heard was late 2010 movie styled series.

Which doesn't fill me with joy as the movie guys are ugly in comic form. {Not as fugly as those hybrid things IDW is going to be using in there ongoing series of comics though. Why can't they learn if it ain't broke don't fix it *sigh*}

Debuting later this fall Hasbro in conjunction with Discovery Communications Inc will release a new Transformers cartoon on a new TV channel currently called Discovery Kids called Transformers: Prime.

Jeffrey Combs will be the voice of Ratchet, a very well known character in the Transformers world. There are 26 episodes scheduled for the first season. Exact details of the show are currently unavailable but will be posted here as soon as they are made available.

Jeffrey is quite thrilled with the opportunity to be cast in the role of Ratchet. He's not able to talk too much about the show this early in the production but did have this quote: "What I can say is that it is an honor and a privilege to be a part of such a prestigious project."

Jeffrey Combs is known mostly for his role in acting in the horror film genre as well as playing several alien characters in the popular Star Trek franchise. In the world of cartoons, Combs has lent his voice to Scaregrow in Batman: The Animated Series and several others. Wikipedia even notes that Combs will be playing Ratchet in Transformers: Prime.

I would like for the Hasbro people to finally listen to its older devoted fans and make a kick-ass War for Cybertron series patterned after the video game of that name. NO HUMANS, just kicking ass on the planet of Cybertron! We ought to start up a petition to get this done! What do you guys think? :)

It's a shame that there will always be that human element to give the kids someone to relate to, so that they can kick and scream until they get the toys. (Wish it worked that way for me).
