Generations Blizwing (definitely a back to drawing board figure at first glance)
TF GO Smokescreen (looks WAY better than Hasbro's)
TF Go: Gekisomaru (the lion)

Bought a MP Grimlock off Evil-Bay. TRU version. Got it for less than what people are paying for the AE Grimlock, which is fine by me. Folks are already complaining their brand new Grimlocks have floppy joints straight out of the box (mold degradation), so I'm glad to have missed that boat. Got a pretty good deal all things considered...here's a look at the completed listing:

Yes sir. 'Tis my 1st MP Autobot ever purchased. Hopefully MP-10 will be next once I save up.

Grimlock, is a cool figure, thou he could do without the light gimmick in his hand, yet the changing of his eye colour gimmick is nice thou I tend to keep mine as red eye robot, blue eyed Dino mode!

So two dragons and a space gangster show up - oh, you've heard this one.



Generations (2010) Black Shadow

The Thunderwing mold was always good...but something felt off about Thunderwing himself. I think I have the answer: the mold was built to be in black, red, and silver. Although if I had any skill with hammering out pins, I'd swap at least the double hinge bit on the back with the same part on Thunderwing. The goldish part would fit Thunderwing better and the black would blend in better on Black Shadow. Hun-Gurrr is part 2 of Abominus, and the boss of the team. You don't mess with a guy with dragon head slippers.  Though his shoulders are a little weak for supporting Twinstrike (and undoubtedly Windrazor) in combined mode...maybe I can do something about it. We'll see once I get the remaining three. Skystalker is simple to transform. More so than nearly any other Deluxe Predacon. However, I enjoy the subtleties in what his transformation does. The wings are somewhat heavy, though...they need to be pointing in certain directions so they don't throw his balance off in certain poses. Next Pred to get: Grimwing.

I need to go back and grab a MOC Black Shadow one day. I have Thunderwing, but I agree the mold does look better in black/red.

There's a few minor differences between Thunderwing and Skyshadow, well, to be exact, only two, colours aside, one is the most obvious, the head, the other is the chest, the part that covers the head for jet mode, they changed that!

Aye, and there's space cut out in the sides of the central chest panel for the horns to fit.

Hard for me to tell since my Gen. Thunderwing is still MOC.  

Got this in the mail today. Like new, opened and will be displayed (loose) in dino mode on my MP Shelf. Fucking holy grail by Masterpiece standards (price-wise):

Grimlock, is king, I really like that MP figure, mine currently stands in robot mode on my coffee table, wearing his crown and over looking a bunch of deluxe figures!

Picked up Predacons rising Abominus, mine got a major error on Twinstrike or whatever his name is (the one with the two heads in beast mode), most of his body is the wrong colour, the front legs are the correct colours!

That's helpful, considering both Twinstrike and Hun-Gurrr have two heads in beast mode, but I'm gonna assume you mean Twinstrike. Pics would help though.

The one who makes up the arm (not thinking clearly at the time of post)!

Today, I bought four Gromits, two for myself and two for my niece, one is a screen cleaning cuddly while the other is more something you dangle off your bag or belt loop!

Pics would still help in telling what the problem is.:p

Grimwing is such a cool and imposing figure. His ursagryph (like a griffon or hippogryph, but with a bear) neck and back with the wings don't stay pegged in where they're supposed to, seemingly because the pegs that are supposed to do this are just a tad too small to do it. But it's not like these parts flop about or anything, so it's not a big deal. With Blackbeak you need to unwind the string and keep it straight back when you push the firing mechanism, or else the string will get caught and the grapple missile thing will barely fire. Ultra Magnus is pretty cool. He's a significant retool and repaint of Prime RiD Optimus...and it totally works. The base mold totally works for someone other than Optimus. Just wish this version either came with the smokestacks or had remolded the sleeper cab panels to remove those unpleasant holes of obviously intended for something to go there.

You should get Predacons Rising Dark Steel, he looks a heck of a lot nicer than Grimwing!

Had this arrive today. 'Tis my 3rd Igear Mini-Warrior and I'm overall very pleased. Colors could've been a bit darker though, but it'll do:

My advice Six, ditch that Ironhide and get the Arms Micron one and get a TFP RID Kup and give him the cannons, also you might want to look into getting the upgrade for Hound! Anyway, is it me or has Brawn been in a brawl and lost a arm or two?

Nah, I'll keep 'ole Ironhide. Have Universe Ratchet too, he's still sealed though. They'll do until something better comes out geared more towards the CHUG line. As for mixing Prime figs with Classics....nah. They have two totally different body styles (aesthetics) to mix well. Or at least it would stand out to me.

I do have Hound upgraded. With Reprolabels...   Fucker looks clean! I don't need the hologram gun or any of that other stuff. Never keep him in vehicle mode anyways.

You must be seeing things SOP.    Brawn has both arms. He's holding his rifle in his right arm. The one by Grimlocks leg, probably blends in...

TFP RID Vehicon Drone delxue (the poor guy was surrounded by Acree, Rumble, Airachnid, BB and Kup, with a few BH figures but clearly their trying to clear masses of these figures at £8 a piece which isn't to bad for a deluxe figure brand new)

I also picked up Beast Hunters Skystalker (saw Smokescreen again, along with BH Ratchet and Butterfly Dreadwing, but I chose not to buy them, Skystalker, was the only one of interest to me because my Beast Figure collection is expanding of late)

Had a couple of Autobot Masterpieces arrive today...   ....those packets you see on the side are the Amazon exclusive chrome piledrivers for Sideswipe and red set of piledrivers for Red Alert. Just noticed if you were to remove the "L" from Lambor, that my haul today really reveals: AMBOR ALERT. Oh shit..

Who did I get today? This guy!       Set to arrive next Wednesday (MISB).
