A dog, normally, he never says a word and is the pet of a inventor named Wallace, both are the brain child of a Oscar winning British director named Nick Park, I'm not surprised that you not heard of them, considering their pretty much British but to give you a vage idea of what goes on in their animations, here's a clip, from their first outing, a Grand day out, 1989:Sixshot wrote: is a Grommit?
Since that there's been three more half hour eps, a bunch of shorts, one movie and two spin off series, plus a couple of video games and a discontinued comic series! They also help a local Children's hospital with their Grand Appeal!
Anyway, these statues are all for charity, to be sold at auction in Oct this year!

That's cool! So different people made these and they just put them all over the city until the auction?

Yes, their all made by different people and sponsored by various companies! Next month, they come together for five days to be seen by the public before being sold to make money for Charity! I'll try and get some more down when work lets me, but I'll definitely go and see the gathering of the Gromits!

Re: The Gromit Trail (WARNING LOTS OF PICTURES)
I know I not got around to posting more of the pictures I taken of these Gromits, tonight they were sold at Auction and made a total of: £2,357,000 for charity, the best selling was Gromit Lightyear selling for £60 thousand odd! Some I think should of made more than they did because the children's Hospital needs the money for improvements!
