Beast Hunters lamo deluxe wave 6 images

Does anyone else think Hasbro forgot to do one major thing when upscaling the legends class figures?

Make them interesting? Collectible? In a color besides yellow?

If I was to make them more interesting, give them better joints, when I heard about them upscaling some of the legend class figures, I thought they would be making some improvements to the articulation of the figures, but sadly that's not the case from the looks of things, they just look like oversized Knock offs of the legends figures, hence why I put lamo in the thread title!

i'm not in to the Beast Hunters deal anyways. Nothing impresses me from that line.

Fine but I do recommend the Beast figures, their pretty good, along with Shockwave, I skipped the retools of the older figures and most of the new vehicle ones, aside from Smokescreen, Magnus and OP!

If i ever rebuild my collection it would probably be only be MPs, CHUGS or 3rd party or all of the above.

All of the above!! 3rd party compliments the CHUG line mostly. Fills in the gap with missing figures or just outright better ones. There's only been one 3rd party MP (FT Shockwave) so far, but they're working on others such as Jetfire.

Wrong, there has been several third party MPs, thou a couple been primary knock offs of the Starscream mould, yet altered to be the coneheads!

Damn, you're right. Forgot about iGear's MP Coneheads and their MP VanGuard bros. (Ratchet and Ironhide....which I own   ) If you can think of any more then let me know, as I might have missed out. Can't afford the Coneheads as they're running $150-$200 each x3.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of any other third party MP figures

Its not that I don't like BH figures, its the retools, they were useless and pointless, clearly somewhere along the long Hasbro's marketing backfired, that being said, the whole series of prime kind of backfired, they said ordinary they would explore what it means to be a prime, but that never really happened!
