Tip for you Galvy, if you get an idea while making the comic, go and do it, that's how my comics have evolved one idea leads to another!

I got my Ex Optimus prime out of the packing and to be honest, there wasn't much packing as I thought there be, he was just tied down with the string things! So far, I have transformed him to Robot mode and to Dragon mode from the train, the dragon isn't to bad, I still need to do combined form modes and figure out exactly how the helmets combine for shield form!

I think I figured out a way to make repro / custom TF boxes. I put a lot of thought into the project a while ago, then put it on the shelf. Now I'm thinking about it again.

Any requests?

Something I was thinking looking at one the kaboutos for Optimus Ex Prime, its rather Voltron like in terms of how the face is hidden away, disguising its self as a mouth of a dragon! However, I'll be frank about that combined mode, its rather chunky around the torso because of Prime's robot mode feet & legs, their folded up but kind of dong the splits in that combined form! As for the other combined form, its well chunky towards the top but it let me put the dragon kabouto on and have the other one in its correct place for combined form! In all honestly, I think it was a nice idea by Takara but poorly executed (the combined modes), good example, is Kenzan, his combine mode hands are laughable compared to other figure hands, thou close rival for bad hands, off the top of my head, would be ROTF Fallen, he couldn't hold anything until he got the retool to Hunt the cons figure!

Yep. Start with Season 1 and work your way to Season 4.

That would be neat! What I would pay you good money for would be an accessories tray inside a nice G1 style box. I have all the G1 figures, complete...but my parts are all in baggies inside a huge drawer. Maybe make a slot off to the side where you can stack instruction manuals too. The insert could be styrofoam but you'd have to cut out spots for missiles, guns, rocket launchers, swords, exc., exc., exc...

Sounds like you two need to go into business together, Galvy and Six's Box + Spares!  

Another bloody busy day in work, spent ages on the tills, serving the customers and later after my break, I come to my can section to find someone has raided the Diet Pepsi cans and taken at least two of the sealed cases that were behind the open cases, so clearly someone thinks we have a great offer and bought in bulk!

Well starting as of about half an hour ago, I'm officially on Holiday for a week, paid of course!

Must be nice to get those....my job doesn't "do" paid vacation time. I haven't had a paid vacation in about 5 years, since I worked for my previous employer.  

Well its going to be the longest time I taken off, since I started working for that company, my previous major attempt at taking some time off got screwed around to the point it just never happened, but I did mange to take a couple of days off at the end of 2013 and New Year's day! If I took two weeks off, I expect I'll just go crazy with boredom, I got a plan for this week, well at least three days of it, first two, Niece and Nephew, day three, start clearing out some old books that I've read but unlikely to read again and get them to the charity shop, they aren't going be worth anything I suspect, so charity can make better use of them and if I gift aid them, it should help lower what I pay in tax!

i haven't had a paid vacation since 2007. I took my family to the Redwood forest in northern California. It's so beautiful there. I want to go back.

Maybe you should start saving $$ and take a long over due vacation there again in the summer!

I was just looking at Optimus Ex Prime and I gotta admit he has some pretty bad ass swords and unlike the sword for the Jet of the Samurai team, its made of solid plastic, thus doesn't bend, about the only down side for this figure is the fact he has a large back pack due to the fact he can form a torso of two combined forms, yet he is a very stable figure in robot mode, dragon mode not to bad, I haven't paid much attention to train mode, but its ok, the Kaboutos for attaching don't really attach in Train mode, instead they just rest on top of the train its self! I haven't put any batteries into him yet but in all, train mode is pretty nice, combined forms, they tend to look like they could do with work!

   I can sympathize with that (2 daughters: 10 & 17, 1 son: 15)

I just got around to switching the panels of my NOT Devestator's Mixing barrel, so its gone from green to purple, all that leaves is the Rage kit to upgrade him to a more G1 accurate look, that isn't a worry because I have already pre-ordered one of the second run, thus I shall not miss it or pay through the nose to obtain it!

im taking me a paid week off next month just for the hell of it.  I have lots of time saved up.

I just seen my niece off with her mummy, one point this afternoon, she painted what she called a "Dead Fox!" for her Granddad, she's quite the lively little girl, making time for her grandparents and her uncle (me), she was all over the place while also doing painting and drawing!
