I'm new to these TF board thingies, but I've been a life long transformers fan (being 28 and all that, and still owning the VHS version of the '86 I got when it was first released).

Just recently got back into collecting though, after seeing the Masterpiece Skywarps in Argos for £20 I had to have 2!! (One of which may be getting repainted into MP Action Master Thundercracker!). Then my on my birthday Sunstorm got me an Animated Bulkhead, I saw the quality of some of the classics line, and I realised that that being a TF collector is like being an alcoholic, you never stop being one, you just have number of years not drinking while secretly pining for a nice pint.

Now the floodgates have been opened and I no longer have space on my desk for a monitor (without digging my G1 stuff out of the cupboard), I'm having walmart exclusives imported (red classics powerglide), spent silly amounts at yahobby and ebay and have laid down a preorder on the fansprojects crossfire sets (with the bruticus maximus on its way) and considering whacking down the blurts for auto assembly in sunny Birmingham!

Its not been good for the bank balance (cheers Sunstorm... ), but its been bloody fun, and my shelves are full of ball jointed goodness.

Figured best place to start off online would be somewhere I already know peeps, so here I am, on the hunt for whatever classics stuff I can get my hands on.

Welcome to my good friend from work - I thought I liked TFs, but guys, I'd seen nothing yet. This chap can pull trivia from the deepest of the deep areas.... my knowledge is primarily toys, but Goo really is a knowledge book for the universe and the toons. Once his toy collection overtakes mine, I am in fear of being totally shown up ;)

Yes Goo - tell them I didn't know where that purple gun came from in with MP Megs - TELL THEM AND SHAME ME!!! ha ha ha :bart: I am crap with noticing little details like that a lot of the time....*sigh* and Goo will ensure he tells me about all of them.

Anyways - welcome again Goo (or do you want us to call you Paul on here?) and enjoy it.

Oh - and a pre-emptive don't worry, Galvatron IS just like that. yeah. one messed up dude. ;)

Its Goo mate, Paul is the name that I give when I start working somewhere ('cos Goo doesn't really sit well with employers!)

Yeah that sucks. But they say that Eyjafjallajökuld is now done with the eruption..the question is if it ignites the larger Katla...then it can be much longer before we can fly again.Really hope it will be ok by august.

It had better be finished by August!!!!

theres very litle chance of katla erupting ...

one doesnt usually ignite another for the pressure has been released :)

it's good when pressure is released.
