Nice I have a few of them including the KO of a KO, all mine has on it is the stamp Japan. I also have the silver convertable one with LeBaron on the side, but mine has black plastic instead of the yellow.

I don't know much about these, though everyone's probably seen them somewhere before. They're from the 80's, and have a little bear head logo on them. I really like the frog. They are pretty well designed and have cool transformations, but the quality is crappy. The copper ones were broken when I got them, and I broke one again trying to transform it. It's a shame, really. They're pretty detailed and well thought out.

Was it the Quick Change 4-packs? DON'T buy those! I just got suckered into them again today. I bought the Dino ones and some of the guys don't have arms and are molded so some parts don't move like they should and won't transform. I fell for the insects last year.

So, I ain't spending $50 for a legends Devastator, so I took a chance on this one from China. I'm calling the quality awesome. I don't have any Hasblows to compare it to, but from pix I've seen it looks identical. Nice stiff joints, decent plastic, and he holds together really solidly. On a side note, the Chinese instructions are way more detailed and easier to understand than US instructions. I paid $13 shipped for mine, took about 2 weeks. Here the linky:

my TRU has the G1 colored version for $30.

That ain't bad, only like $4 a guy. I only see them on eGay. The Wallies here have the green ones, but they cost like $40, I think.

Since there's been some talk of them recently and I've just finally finished my collection of these, I present to you in all their craptacular glory: Select's Convertors Avarians and Insectors. The quality on these are crappy. You have to be really careful when you transform them. Some parts are super loose, some super tight. I'm really surprised they managed to survive 26 years.

Here are some new KO's I picked up last year. I can't believe these molds are still around! I don't think Hoot was made. The quality on these are crappier, as the plastic is just a little lower quality. No chrome, and less paint apps.

I used to have Hoot when I was a minicon. Since I didn't have very many Original TF's I pretended Hoot was a Predacon LOL.

Here's a couple quick pix of this crappy Shrapnel KO a got from a really good friend. Love the color scheme, and the damn stickers are mostly still there!





These guys are Esso Robot Racers. I think they were only available at
Esso gas stations. Only in the UK maybe? I've never seen an Esso
station. I got these from Canada. I've seen the Volkswagen all the time
when I first started collecting, but just never ended up with one. This
seller had all 4, in awesome shape! Quality is good, but a couple of the molds are goofy, as seen in the side profile pix. These have pull-back motors, and Surf-Finder and Mighty Man will roll in robot mode.







These are the other 4. All have the same basic frame. These have friction motors, so when you push them, they will keep rolling.



They look orange in this pic, but they're red.





I actually had a couple of these already from a UK buddy, then the Canada seller had all 4 so I scooped them up, and discovered this when I compared them to the 2 I had:





Reverse color variation! The search continues, need the 3 other yellow ones. I do have an extra red cement truck (Dromo) if anyone's interested.
