This is literally next on my list of figs I MUST add to my collection. The Universe Ratchet I have now just won't due when compared to this work of art right here. You won't find find a better G1 Ratchet representation anywhere. This figure comes with a slew of accessories. So you can pimp your "mad doctor" out in any way you see fit. Also being a bit tall on the Voyager end (7.5") means he'll scale well with Classics (around Classics Prime height) or a Masterpiece collection. Don't snooze on this one. Or his mate Ironhide. I'll be sure to have a mini-review up on him next!

That truly is the best Ratchet figure I've ever seen. This one will be tough to beat

That's called CHROME my good buddy! :lol!: Something that seems to be a lost art for Hasbro. And it's actually one of my favorite features of this mold in robot mode. It pays homage to the "chrome" laser weapon in the G1 toys shell part. Now this is what it's supposed to look like when integrated flawlessly into robot mode.

Got tired of not having a decent Ratchet/Ironhide mold in my collection and sprung the cash for Ratchet today. Ironhide will be bought sometime in October for sure. Loving how these scale perfectly for Masterpieces or CHUGs depending on how you want to display them! Got mine from Robot Kingdom (ordered) today as they're the only ones that have Ratchet in stock anymore. Probably will just opt for the Patrol Specialist version of iGears Ironhide from BBTS for $99.99...as for my Ratchet, he'll come will all the accessories shown above (loaded like a good doctor should). Can't wait to put him on my MP shelf! Updated pics in the Reflector section once he arrives...


Here they are in a pic. with Masterpiece Sideswipe. Pretty much the scale Takara is using for all their MP Autobot cars. Scales perfectly..

Just got my PPO5O DEFENCE SPECIALIST (aka MP Ratchet). But mine is a different version. A little bit of a lower price and does not come with all of the accessories but very very very nice. Very well put together and very sturdy. He does scale perfectly with the MPs. Hasbro has a huge challenge if they decide to make their own Ratchet in the future.

So they re-tooled and re-coloured it to make it into "First Aid"?

Yes and no... He is a re-tooled, and re-colored  figure and he does come with First Aid's head.

BUT....
He also comes with 3 optional "Ratchet" heads.
