don't let these pictures fool you. She's actually a flat black. The reflection you see is because I just got done washing her.
Whoever had her before me must of had hard water or parked her next to a sprinkler. She has hard water marks all over her. It took me almost all weekend just to get the windows clean and spotless

I had some plate covers with skulls. But the skulls blocked the tags which makes it illegal to have. I like the barbed wire on the front and back.

Galvatron already has a skull motif going on, so I'm trying to encourage him.

My next big quest is finding skull seat covers for the front.

Recently bought new windshield wipers, new headlights and a new cigarette lighter. Now I can plug in my gps and phone charger.
It's never had a lighter ever. It still had the original metal cover over the hole and no wiring.

You better paint the pipe at the back orange so when it converts to robot mode, it be your cannon or it could be your butt!

its got hard water stains all over it. I gotta find a way to remove them. I believe they are over the first layer of paint and under the second layer. I might have to repaint someday

Yaay I got the title came in the mail today. And I finally put insurance on the Nova last night. Now I can drive completly legal.

But guess what I spent most of my weekend doing....

Those stains are all over my Nova. Top to bottom front to back side to side...


That is until I found this stuff.....



And now, she is about 97% stainless and with a protective shine that makes her look shiny and mean...


And after a long weekend, I took a pic admiring my work...



And my brother made me a replica model...

I tell you what, I've never worked on an engine like this before. The distributor cap and rotor was unlike I've ever changed in the past. But it was easy to do. 7 of the 8 plugs were easy. But one of them was behind the headers and almost impossible to get to. After several attempts I was finally able to get the old one out and a new one in. Very little room to work with behind the headers.

Next project might be door handles and hinges. UUGH! Might have professional take care of that matter.

A mechanic friend of mine used to get around these kinds of problems by getting his 5 year old daughter to do the work in the small spaces! Little hands can be useful.

What did you have in mind for those? The door handles look fine from what I can see. You don't want to replace the stocks with aftermarket, do you?

I plan to get original door handles. Or identical aftermarket.
The passenger side door handle does not work. The pin is out of place. Plus the chrome is showing some wear on both doors. The passenger door only opens from the inside.
Plus... with those old cars, it seems that 98% of the entire car's weight is in the doors.
New hinges will prevent the doors from dopping down when being opened.

after decoding the cowl tags, I found out Jenny was born the first week of March 1976 in Kansas City Mo.
I'm only 4 months older. The wife is only 1 month older.
