I found this news on the TFW2005 website....

ActionFigs.com, in the recent Hasbro Q & A, has asked the question many of you have been asking - when will we see Transformers Animated Season 3 on DVD? Unfortunately, the answer that came back read as follows:

Unfortunately, there are no plans to release Animated Season 3 or to re-release Season 1 or 2 at this time. Granted, all plans are always subject to change, but we do not want to promise anything at this point in time.

This sad piece of news lays to rest the long-running hopes of many that our Transformers Animated DVD collections might be completed with a season 3 DVD, at least for the immediate future.

I've been watching animated lately, and actually laughed my tits off at Wreck-Gar here. He's great, I'm just now watch "Garbage In Garbage Out" (which made my inner tech geek smile :) ), particularly a bit when someone mentions "catch bad guy", so he runs ahead of this archer dude spidey swing down the street so he slams into him, says the line "Catch bad guy", and proceeds to LAUNCH HIM INTO ORBIT AND WAITS FOR HIM TO COME DOWN TO CATCH HIM!!!

The comedy timing was ace, quite enjoying this so far.

This summer I'll buy DVD's of Animated season 1 probably from UK retailers....the prices are very cheap and I've watched some episodes. as the first one with Blackarachnia and "Sound and fury"....although G1 toon remains much,much better,animated is a rather good toon and then there are a lot of tribute characters to G1.
So season 3 won't be released at the moment...too bad. I had read that has a dark atmosphere(just as G1 US season 3)compared to 1 and 2...I'm curious,now I search more information about it.
News aren't good but I'm confident that sooner or later a collection about whole series from 1 to 3 will be realised :) for a lot of toons we had to wait a lot DVD's version, but then,they were released.

Thanks again for the welcome .I hope that everything is good for you and board members.
I wasn't active lately because In RL there are a lot of things to do and my interest in TFs has fallen just a little,however it has never ceased and i like visiting this place when i have time.

I'll try to be rather present now..always ready to fight with Decepticons.... and to use my knowledge in creating fortresses and power plants in our war.

Returning to Animated series for me remains a good toon (although G1 remains the best and War of Cybertron has some awesome robot designs) ... after that i rewatch some episodes i could express some impressions about Animated characters and style of plots in this topic :)

of all the TF cartoons I have seen (and i've seen a lot) Animated is 2nd best to G1 hands down.
Too bad it had such a short life span.

That's one series I tried to watch, while it was on the air, but just couldn't ever get into.

I'm not a big fan of TFA show because the first two seasons were kind of weak in places, it could of done without the human super villains, they were mostly nuisances! Season 3 things were better and at the end, it seems a little rushed into a conclusion, mainly because of the fact it not been renewed for a fourth season, but I honestly believe they should of carried on with a fourth season and that would of aloud time for Prime season 1 to be done properly and get more thought poured into it, lets face it, prime season 1, for the most part, lacked major thought in terms of storyline until the end with Unicron! Anyway, TFA toys were awesome in my view, while the show is, kind of a hit and miss in places, thou that's just my personal view!

Where TFA stands in my personal ratings, it stands at number 4 along side RID, with BW/BM at no 1, followed by G1 and third place Victory! Prime stands unrated until it officially ends completely!
