Anyone know how to get the pics bigger? Photobucket only makes them so big, so does the forum.

Can't you just click on them in Photobucket to make them bigger?

Yeah, but some sites I go to you can blow up the image REALLY big. Sometimes it's hard to read the scans here.

It's probably the final image size that they have been saved in. Only way round that is if you copy and paste the instructions into a Paint program and zoom in. The scans I just put up are at a third of the size that my scanner does, are they too small?

I tried before. I took a huge pic, and uploaded it to the forum and to PB, and the both must have a size limit. I wanna be able to view them like this:

Is there an image host that will allow scans to be that large? That would be sweet to have those instruction scans that large.

EDIT: Ramjet, I know it's not ideal but what about if you press 'ctrl +' when looking at the instruction scans to zoom the web browser? Resolution might suffer but it should allow you to get a better view?

Is there another type of program that would I could use to make the images SUPER large?

Also while cleaning out and organizing my photobucket, I accidentally deleted ALL Animated instructions.
And I had none saved to my HD. I will rescan and get them back up ASAP.

Just testing here. I gotta borrow the ol' lady's camera to take a good pic. I remembered that Photobucket used to have an option to change the size. Well, now they want you to pay $25 a year for a Pro account, but I still set the size at the largest it would allow. Let's see......

I think that size is fine when you click the 'Click to see fullsize' button on top of the image.

Those would work great. The size is large. The only downfall I see is the glare from the camera flash.

Yeah, it was just a tester. My camera gets blurry when I don't use the flash. When I get serious, I'll use the ol 'lady's or her daughter's camera. I was thinking of putting some glass or plexiglass on top of them to take the pic, too. So, when you guys upload to PB, look for that size option.

Plus, I put all of the scans on disc. If anybody is interested in a copy let me know.

Added 46 Auto-butt pix, 'Cons next. I'd probably have 3 times as many if I dug out all the instructions that I left in the boxes before I started putting them in a folder, but that's gonna suck digging them all out.

Questions:

1. Do we really need to post G1 instructions? I think most are easily found online.

2. I started one for Robot Masters because I didn't know where else it would fit.

3. I put some from the Dinobots line (it was it's own little sub-line) in with Universe, because a few were re-colored and released in Universe, but not all. Is there a better place to put them, or should they have their own category?

4. Should we start another for HFTD and Reveal the Shield? I put Hubcap in with ROTF.
