MegaDrive Megatron & Playstation Prime

These two figures are on my "to buy" list! Of Course I like collecting all things Prime and Megatron. 

 
I shall call them OptiPlay PrimeStation and SEGAtron

Opti PrimeStation should be OP, while Megs should be called Genesistron! 

I'm passing on these figures, I'm not big on figures who transform into non vehicles and non animals, like the Shoe prime they did a while back!

I saw the Megatron prototype awhile back and decided then I must have one. I didn't know about the Prime, so thanks for bringing him to my attention.

Since these figures combine my love of old consoles with my love of TFs, I need to make some shelf space.

Thanks for the link, looks like he is going to cost me a bit in shipping and taxes, but then again he does turn into a SEGA Mega Drive...

I already have a sega Mega Drive, as well as a Master System II, a PS1, A PS2, A Wii, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, plus my PC!   So why do I want a bot with a totally useless alt mode, its not like he can play the games!

If I were to list my console collection, you would understand why I want a bot with a totally useless alt mode!*   

*Dont most alt modes count as totally useless with these figures? I measn you can hardly take your Prime out for a Sunday drive....

I'll call Megatron "Megadrivetron". Or "Megatrondrive".

I thought Blaster should've been the Playstation, with a Soundwave XBox. Soundblaster could be the XBox 360, Twincast could be PS2.

Optimus as a NES/SNES would be more fitting, mirroring the Sega/Nintendo rivalry. PS vs. Sega doesn't quite do it for me.

Well Blaster not the Playstation, but he could become the PS2, while Twincast could become the PS3 and for the PS4, Rodimus, while on the cons side of things, Starscream could be the Master System II, Reflector as a smart phone, Shockwave could be the Game Cube or the NES64! Of course, for the game controllers, they can be Soundwave or Blaster's minions! 

Well now there's finally some truth to the old advertising campaign's slogan, "Genesis does what Nintendon't." I'm sure Megatron's fusion cannon is full of Blast Processing.
