Excellent review (as always)! I haven't had the where-with-all to transform mine yet.. I've read from many Apollyon owners that it's a major pain in the ass to do so. I got my orange plugs off with a bit of tension/twisting but never once did I feel like I was going to break it doing so. He was a highly anticipated piece for my collection as well but DX9's Astrotrain was released around the same time and that stole some of his thunder.

Oh snap! Stop the press! THIS is the reason to drop everything and buy Apollyon! Who the fuck cares that he scales well with MP-10? Who gives a shit his legs don't look pencil thin like MP-5? LASERBEAK CAN PERCH ON HIS ARM!

That was an extra bonus for sure! Apollyon is totally amazing hands down! Even his packaging is superb!
