KFC Transistor (aka MP Blaster)
I'm just going to do a short little review and my opinion on this set. For full review check out videos on youtube.
When KFC first released this set it came with a metallic paint job. Which I think is magnificent!!!!! He really shines!
But that was also holding me back on buying him when he first came out. I wanted the simple plain ol' red colors like in the cartoon.
Someone must of heard me and they re-released Transistor without the metallic paint job.
Some other differences I've noticed from pictures and videos are the buttons on the "metallic" version are black as to the version I own are grey.
On the metallic version, it appears that Rewind is painted white and there have been complaints about the paint chipping.
The version I have is all white plastic and not painted white.
The metallic version, the front hip panels do not move leaving very little leg motion.
This was fixed in the version I have with movable front hip panels that gives Blaster plenty of leg motion.
My final thoughts...
Anybody that is collecting Masterpiece scale figures, or just anything related to G1... this guy is the guy to get!!
It truly is a masterpiece. Fully poseable, and the transformation is genious!!
I can't remember, but I think he's about as tall as the G1 Blaster.
Rewind is very easy to transform and he's rather good with poses.
The plastic and paint on both figures are great
Both figures are very sturdy and tight.
Everything tabs in together just like it's supposed to
My only complaint about this set is the fact that Hifi (Rewind)... come with 2 extra heads but the details for cassette mode are not included on the heads.
So you must have the original head intact while in cassette mode.
Hopefully, I can do some justice with the Reprolabels set coming in the mail. (I'll do a labels review also)

Re: KFC Transistor (aka MP Blaster)
Here is a pic I found online showing a comparison of the KFC Transistor next to G1 Blaster
Re: KFC Transistor (aka MP Blaster)
That comparison pic, shows the figure looking a lot more shinnier, still intersting review but I'm not going to get him, for the mo, my old TFU figure with Generations voyager head will do as my Blaster, thou I do have another Generations because I wanted to be able to have both figures with desent heads!
