Shrapnel's Belated Introduction

Hello all!

I've been around for a few weeks now but haven't had the common courtesy to introduce myself.

I'm from Madison, Wisconsin, U.S.A. I'm currently in the process of finishing up my second trip to college in order to become a high school (or middle school) biology teacher. My first trip to college centered on entomology (insects) hence my passion for all things bug-related (and the Insecticons). I'm married (going on 5 years now) with no children although we do have a guinea pig, a pair of fish, two tarantulas, a scorpion, and colonies of walking sticks and two different species of cockroach.

I love G1, Beast Machines, TF:Animated and the new movie toys. In addition to my TF interests, I'm a big scifi nut and love Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Farscape, Doctor Who, etc.

I already know a bunch of the denizens of Galvy's Lair and I look forward to getting to know the rest of you.
