Re: Sixshots Collection...
Good collection , its made me think, maybe when my next day off comes, Friday (I hope) I'll locate my camera and take some pics of my collection as it is currently, thou you won't see any TFs in boxes, I'm not that kind of collector, I prefer mine loose and playable, of course I just need to sort out a small zone that cons primarily hang around in, out!

Thanks! A lot of these have been opened, played with and then stored back in the box. Easier to keep them dust free that way. But if they come MOSC, they most likely stay that way. As far as a zone for the Decepticons, I highly recommend checking into those Mechanical Chain Bases. They make awesome display kits (or bases) for your CHUG/3rd party Bots or Cons! You can get them pretty cheap too. I only paid $9.99 (free shipping) for each of my sets from overseas.
Re: Sixshots Collection...
Don't need base things, the zone is a space underneath my VHS & DVD players because its an old bedside cabinet that once belonged to my granddad before he passed away years ago, not that I was very close to him, I barely remember him, I was very young back then!

Re: Sixshots Collection...
Thanks! I've gotten a few more things in since those last set of pics were taken. Branched off into Masterpiece full force and added a handful of 3rd party figs as well, need to update soon. And yup, gotta get yours up now. Look forward to it!flik68 wrote:nice collection bro. guess i need to take pics of mine and post them soon.
Re: Sixshots Collection...
Freed a bunch of Masterpieces from their plastic prisons this weekend. Now I got a full shelf, with no room for Hexatron (I didn't bother putting MP Red Alert up there...yet). Used some clear flight stands for Laserbeak, Buzzsaw and Ravage to give them some elevation. Thanks for looking!
EDIT: Primes left arm has since been pushed back in.
My next project will be doing the hip mod on Starscream to get rid of that kibble and make him more like the MP-11 mold. The Takara Skywarp in this pic. already has that mod done. Also got to get those solid hands installed on Quakewave. As well as batteries...I have the forearm kit to make the hose "underslung" like the cartoon/comics, but I'll probably skip that as I don't want to lose electronics in his cannon arm.
*Looking for a cheap, affordable (in good condition without arms falling off or broken knee caps) MP Rodimus Prime.*

@Galvy: Thanks! It's getting there.SuperOmegaPrime wrote:It only lacks the emperor of destruction, MEGATRON!
I'm waiting on Megatron version 2.0. MP Megatron just doesn't scale well, or look spot on to his cartoon appearance. I've got Hegemon as a fill in for now....who scales with nothing (too large for CHUG, too small for MP), but he'll have to do.
Re: Sixshots Collection...
Ah, I don't own and not bothered with Hegemon, for my G1 of sorts megs beside MP, its Henkei Megatron!

Re: Sixshots Collection...
now I've got to make room for MP Ratchet, Ironhide, Prowl, Bluestreak and Smokescreen. And....Wheeljack and Bumblebee come next year. Probably will just build another shelf. Where? I don't have a clue as there's no more space left in here.SuperOmegaPrime wrote:Looks like Red Alert is Camera shy because he hiding behind Grimlock!
Re: Sixshots Collection...
well, you would have more shelf room if you sent that giant bulky Fort Max to a nice home in Oregon.
Re: Sixshots Collection...
Or you could let those Joes out of their plastic prison and put the shelf above them! Then again you could always put the Joes on the ceiling and then add the shelf, the other options would be to relocate them to another place say perhaps under your bed or put them on Ebay and make some money to cover the up coming MP figures, "the power is yours!" I mean the choice is yours!

I noticed your "seekers" are not floating on their mounting devices. Do you have them leaning on the wall?

No they're all actually standing up on their own. The mounts made them taller than the other Decepticons so I chose not to use them, keeping those in the closet. Starscream's the only one that has his balance "a bit off" and that's only because I haven't done the leg mod on him yet. I'll get around to it eventually though, the MP Skywarp I own already had the mod done to him when I purchased it, so he'll be a good visual example (along with the online tutorial).
Re: Sixshots Collection...
will do. Once I dust in here, I'll get a video up.Galvatron wrote:you'll have to give us an updated pic with Smokescreen

Thanks! I need more space, but the wife says I only get 1 room in the house to house my plastic crack.
Re: Sixshots Collection...
You need a bigger room then or release those poor imprisoned figures from their packing!
