SunStorm's collection
Here we go chaps, a quick look at the stuff I currently have room for. I got a bunch of stuff stored away too which I'll photograph soon.

Hey, you found Omega Supreme's head! Seriously, when are you gonna open that stuff up?

Yeah - I finally found that head about 6 months ago when moving some furniture.
As for the unopened MPs, well there's only the Hasbro Skywarp and MP08x King Grimlock which are truly unopened... all the others have at least been opened and/or some even displayed at some point, hence the green Takara Starscream in the Hasbro box you can see... he happened to be in robot mode whilst the Hasbro G1 repaint was in jet mode at the time, and it was easier to just put them in each other's boxes. I have the G1 repaint and other Takara Skywarp tucked away as I don't have room to display them right now... I'd have to sacrifice the Unicron's and Omega, and I like having those out at the moment. Unicron still has his Real Gear Powerup VT6 game system to play on - I don't have the heart to take it off him after all this time :lol!:
I won't open the Hasbro Skywarp, just because I have the Takara version opened, so I don't need to see him. As for the MP08x - I can't bring myself to open it... it cost a lot compared to the others (although I think I got him for cheap for what I've seen. I paid £175, and they're usually £200 - £240), and I think I want to keep him MISB. I would like to at least look at him, but hey ho - I have the other Takara version out of his box, and the only differences are the gold is brighter on MP08x and he has blue/black arms and legs like in the comic artwork. I'm happy leaving him be for now, but you never know, I might get tempted to gently peel back the tape and have a peek
The D62S ehobby Galvs is also MISB, but I may open him yet, as I've found a rarer variant of the same model with a green matrix... I'm gonna get that one too and keep that one MISB instead so I can display this one eventually.
Once I've got hold of MP Thundercracker and the upcoming Ghost Starscream, I will do a pic of them all together out of their boxes, excluding MP08x of course... then I'll have a basic whole set if you exclude a couple of Prime variants I also need. Grrrr variants - gotta have 'em! ha ha

Re: SunStorm's collection
it's the Takara 2003 model, not the Takara/Tomy 2008 reissue. If you look at the bottom right hand corner of his box, you can see it says Takara in red, whereas the Megatron one and the black MP01B to the rear were made by Takara/Tomy, and they have the blue Takara/Tomy symbol in the top right hand corner instead... the 2008 reissue UM has that blue symbol on his box too

yes, I think it's a "B" cup....
you're right Galvs - it's the titanium one, yes... the micromaster devastator and the little hybrid OP's throw the scale off, I know. They all look just right in size together, to me...

Re: SunStorm's collection
I've had a bit of a move round today.... decided it was time to store the Star Wars TFs, so I could use the room to display some others. Some of the animated ones on there will slowly be replaced with the Japanese versions as I finally get hold of them...
I've now got all my examples of Optimus Prime together on two shelves, with Galvatron stuck on the end until my recently ordered Fire Guts gets here. The closed orange storage units in between house the animated ones which I've taken separate pictures of whilst the fronts are open. I've also got the 3 hybrids together with their boxes behind. I've noticed some gaps in the masterpiece pictures in the toys archive, so will contribute with some detailed pics of what I've got that isn't on there yet;
Here are the animated ones I currently have out of their boxes. I've tried to keep Autobots and Decepticon's together, with one section just for the 5 different versions of Megs that I have from this range. Also stuck Jetfire in there as again, it was the only place and position I had room for him, but it sorta works(!)
and then here's the rest of the masterpieces I have, now with room for the Takara boxed seekers, as well as the two versions of ultimate bumblebee... I've split Energon Omega Supreme down into his two halves to have room to keep him out, and I've moved the two Unicron's up to the top in their planet forms... Armada Unicron was very pissed off when I took powerup VT6 off him finally, but tough titty... I just threatened him with my nuclear blast and thebitch piped down ;) . I've also got room for to have both boxes of MP Grimlock out, with the normal version still out of his box and on his own shelf with a few other Grimmy's and one Star Wars TF I left out, the Death Star. That thing was such a BITCH to get into it's planet mode, and to put it away would have meant untransforming him, and I just couldn't bring myself to do it, so I left him out like that ha ha
and then lastly a shelf with my all my tater heads, some MISB animated stuff that I won't take out and a couple of Disney TFs;

Re: SunStorm's collection
My ol' lady's gonna love that Potato head pic. She's been thinking of collecting them. Vader is a dirty whore to transform! Getting all those plates to line up is like trying to stack BB's. (the kind you shoot). (not the Auto-butt kind, the kind you shoot out of a gun)
Re: SunStorm's collection
the mp collection is awesome, is the Sunstorm a custom? I also like the hybrids, I've been thinking of getting them but havent made the leap.
