THEY ALL SUCK!!!!

I like Reo Speedwagon, and can dig some Billy Joel and Springsteen. I hate the Police/Sting and Tom Petty. I usually groan out loud or swear then turn the station when they come on. I'm also not real fond of Pink Floyd *ducks shit flying at me. Thanks, now I have "Roxanne" stuck in my head. I'm gonna go look for a kitten to punch.

I don't like Sting /Police either.
I can tolerate Tom Petty.

I really like a bunch of Pink Floyd songs. How can you not like the Floyd??

The older stuff is a bit too psychidelic for me.
Dark Side, The Wall, Wish You Were Here are the best albums from the band. The Wall video is awesome! I encourage all to watch it if you have not.

To me, Classic Rock is: Motley Crue, Guns n' Roses, Poison, Ratt, Skid Row, Slayer, Ozzy Osbourne and Metallica. Anything older than that....and it all becomes annoying to me. I do like AC/DC though. Sorry, but I was born in '77 so most of the 70's bands didn't leave a positive influence on me.

My folks listened to classic rock: Steppenwolf, REO Speedwagon, Lynard Skynard, ZZ Top, exc...but that was always their music in my eyes. I appreciate it for what it is but I was always drawn to heavier music. And I was raised by hippies too, Galvy, so don't feel bad. My mom still blazes up and my dad was a dealer (and user) (meth, coke) for years... but was always able to avoid the long arm of the law, amazingly enough. Of course, law enforcement back then wasn't as astringent as it is now-a-days. "Blow" is one of my favorite movies. Reminds me of my dad a lot but without the international drug cartel aspect. He didn't ever fly to Columbia or anything for his coke... But my aunt (his sister) and her husband used to take vacations in Jamaica quite often back in the late 70's/early 80's. They would always come back with something. ;)

my moms smoked doobies until she passed away. my ol man was soooo freakin happy when he got his medical marijuana card. He calls it his "green card".

I just wanted to add to this thread that I STILL CANNOT STAND JOURNEY!!!!! Funny thing is the current drummer lives not far from me.

Medical Marijuana is up on the Arkansas Ballot this fall. I'd be shocked if it passes. Never cared too much for Journey but I did want to add Aerosmith to my list of bands above I dig. ;)

seen them twice. got all their albums plus rare shit. can't wait to hear the full new album. I heard 2 songs so far. Not too bad. But you can tell they are getting up there in age.
