Ghostbusters 3

The GHOSTBUSTERS 3 is going to be in the making. I think I read a release for around Christmas time this year. They had some problem getting Bill Murray to sign on but he did finally agree after Dan Akroyd helped changed the story plot. I also read rumor that Bill's character Dr. Peter is going to be a ghost.

The movie is going to have the original actors about ready for retirement and they are looking for new recrutes to do the ghostbusting. Then possibly a part 4 movie with the new Ghostbusters. IF, the new actors get good fan reviews in the 3rd movie.

Figures. I just bought the 2 pack DVD. I guess I'll put it next to my Rocky and Die Hard box Sets.

Word is that nothing is etched in stone yet. It's all in the air for now. But it seems to be a big possibility. I'd like to see it.

Part of me says 'Yes', but then you get the 'oh they are going to ruin it' kinda feeling. The old films just have some kind of charm to them that I fear will be lost.

I get the feeling that Ghostbusters 3 is not going to be made for quite some time to come, maybe 2014 or 15 we might see a possible Ghostbusters 3, yet the question kind of dawns on me, do we really need to have another Ghostbusters movie? The way things are going lately, I think Hollywood top dogs are to scared to try anything new and ordinal, I mean, they are currently adapting books, comic books and toylines, yet, I haven't seen much ordinal stuff coming from them that is truly worth noting! It might just be me, but, I think they lack Prime's courage to do ordinal bold stuff for adults and becoming reliant on sequels!

I'd rather not see another Ghostbusters movie. From what I've read it'd be similar to Extreme Ghostbusters and I didn't like that.

I enjoyed the hell out of Extreme Ghostbusters and own the entire series, however I don't believe part 3 should be anything like it. At least let us have the four originals in all their glory for part 3 then bring in part 4 with the new group taking over.

Bill & Dan will be in the movie. Anybody hear about Winston?
