^^^ that's probably it, seeing as how I couldn't get a straight answer on the multi-changer question. But Sky Lynx is a space shuttle and not a jet. Seeing as this character did, in fact, appear in G1....and is supposedly an Autobot jet who's not an Aerialbot:
