i love the cobra with the podium. the possibilities of what his speeches would be about.

I had to go after him "after the fact" and pay aftermarket prices. There's 3 SDCC G.I. Joes pictured in that last post. I own 4 altogether, and I'm currently looking for a "Pimp Daddy" Destro reasonably priced.
Re: Sixshots Platoon (G.I. Joes)
Good luck with that. What is a reasonable price for him? Last I knew he was going for a shit-ton of money.

I guess I should specify that I'm going after the more rare Gold Head Variant as opposed to the Silver. That SDCC CC pictured above is the more rare Blue Suit Variant as opposed to the more common Black Suit Variant.
Last time I checked, a fair price for one (Gold Head, MOSC) was around $90-$100 (shipped). The Silver Head Variant seems to sell for around half that.

*double post*
Forgot to show you guys one of the most awesome figures I own. Pursuit of Cobra (POC) Snake Eyes. Or "Ultimate" Snake Eyes. Comes with 2 head sculpts and a shit ton of weapons! I have mine armed to the teeth inside Joe HQ'ers...lol. I also still have my 25th Snake Eyes (MOSC) with Timber but that will probably never get opened.

Signed up for another year at the GIJCC (G.I. Joe Collectors Club). When it comes to G.I. Joes there are no awesome 3rd party companies to fill in the holes. You either get the figures you need through: Hasbro, SDCC exclusives, the G.I. Joe Club or the G.I. Joe Clubs (expensive) Figure Subscription Service. Thankfully most of the figures have been made already by Hasbro and there's only a few holes to fill in my collection. The G.I. Joe Club exclusive figure for next year (2014) is Cross Country. A Southern Rebel boy that drove the H.A.V.O.C in G.I. Joe the Animated Movie ('86). Being a Southern Boy myself, this figure is endearing to me...so I ponied up the $44 membership fee and can now look forward to this guy coming in the mail sometime next Spring:
Re: Sixshots Platoon (G.I. Joes)
I'm bidding on this custom at the moment. Hasbro never released a modern Dial Tone, the G.I. Joe Club did but I missed out on him that year. And there's no way I'm paying over $125+ for a loose one off E-pay, either. This custom will have to do if I can win him for under $25.
Re: Sixshots Platoon (G.I. Joes)
^^^^ well, I was outbid on that last item/post. Went for more than I was willing to pay for someones garage custom, $35+. I am trying to score a GIJCC exclusive Iceberg though, on the cheap. There's a shortlist of G.I. Joe figures out right now that I don't own and need. All of whom weren't available at retail:
G.I. Joe Collectors Club: Dial Tone (2010)
G.I. Joe Collectors Club: Iceberg (2012)
G.I. Joe Collectors Club, Figure Subscription Service: Big Boa (2012)
G.I. Joe Collectors Club, Figure Subscription Service: Toll Booth (2012)
G.I. Joe Collectors Club, Figure Subscription Service: Keel Haul (2012)
Most of those =

I can't get much for them on the international market. American women and kids aren't worth much.Dirge wrote:Sell WIFE and kids to pay for em

Just won this guy off Ebay. Red (more rare than the blues) Cobra Shock Trooper (SWAT). He'll be guarding my Terror Drome jail cell where Chuckles is incarcinated currently for now.

Which version? The original 1986 Sgt. Slaughter was a mail away figure and never came on blister card. He did come carded though in 1989 as part of the "Slaughters Marauders" line. I highly recommend getting the 2010 SDCC Sgt. Slaughter (*TTT variant). Not only do you get great traditional card art, but the best looking Sarge ever made. Anyways, happy hunting!

Good luck with that if you mean the 3 3/4 Build-a-Brawl version. He came out in the last wave and is damn near impossible to find.
Re: Sixshots Platoon (G.I. Joes)
My 2014 G.I. Joe Collectors Club exclusive membership fig. finally arrived today! Cross Country...
