Masters Of The Universe

I'm really excited about the movie trailor Sixshot has posted here at the Lair. I'm looking forward to seeing that movie. I hope He-Man, Skeletor and the rest of the gang get a welcome comback as they so well diserve it. I used to have all the MOTU dvd box sets but I could not get into the series like I did when I was a kid. For some reason, I just could not connect with it. I remember when I was a kid, a friend of mine had a shit ton of MOTU figures, vehicles, Castles etc.. We played with them all the time.

A few weeks ago, I seen the 30th anniversary dvd MOTU collection with all the original series plus the new series all in one set. The casing was a molding of Castle Greyskull. I almost bought it. I'm regretting that I didn't. Hell, I wouldn't mind collecting the action figures some day.

There is talks of a MOTU movie, but that trailer I posted up was a VERY well made, fan made trailer.      didn't mean to get anyones hopes up. As for the toys...Matty Mattel has an awesome, yet overpriced, FSS (figure subscription service) of their own going. I'll be sure and get that checklist up when I find time.

That trailer was not to bad, thou it could of used some more editing, but it was pretty good, I'll admit that, but question of when the hell they get these other 80s properties movies onto the big screen is in doubt, at the mo, as it stands, Hasbro has the lead, by miles over the other companies, lets see, so far they done:
TF 1-3 (4 in works)
Gi Joe 1 & 2
Battleship (Major flop[You sunk my battleship:muttley:])

Hasbro has in the works:
Stretch Armstrong
Candy Land
Monopoly
Hungry Hungry Hippos

Out of those four, I don't think any of them will do well, hell, I haven't a frickin clue what Candy Land is, Stretch Armstrong, will most likely be taken as a rip off of F4 Reed Richards character! Of what I know Hasbro owns, I think beside TF and Gi Joe, the only others to likely to do well if given the chance are: My little Pony, M.A.S.K, possibly Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons (AKA the Forgotten realms) If done right!

I still hear rumors of a new MOTU movie. But they are all just rumors.

Yeah I keep hearing those same rumors and it is beyond irritating.
