I liked Skrapnel. I hope they make the other 2. I wish they would've figured out a way to make all 3 Reflector guys then have them combine, and each Insecticon comes with one.

MMC Talon arrived, MMC Tigris dropped into my "pile of loot". And I also have 3 Warbotron Combaticons waiting for me in my POL as well... Oh glory day once all that magnificent shit ships!

The other day, I picked up, in my local Tesco's:
Silver Knight Optimus prime and Grimlock, this is the DOTM Deluxe OP repainted in chrome silver, while Grimlock is the FOC mould done out in G1 colours including golden chrome colour for the main body and the Dino mode toes, he looks sweet, both for £30 which is pretty good value all things considered!

N-nice kitty... good k-kitty...



Mastermind Creations Reformatted R06 Tigris

Feral Rex can now be completed thanks to this guy. Seemingly to make up for the wait, and to tease the next figures coming down the pipeline after Felisaber who would technically TRULY complete Feral Rex, both Talon and Tigris show concept art for some ladies. Talon had Azalea shown, while Tigris displays a lady who's a little more... Prime in Salvia Prominon. (Solus Prime) He's also giving me a few ideas to play out in his review, which will be underway soon along with the rest of the group. (Felisaber is a retool of Tigris, so his would be generally the same as Tigris barring if he includes different weapons) It's been a very enjoyable ride, but my future sees at least one more Iron Dibot... and a bunch of tech-y bots.

Generations Leader Jetfire

I have no real idea why Snarl is green with metallic purple. Perhaps he was trying to sneak up on some Constructicons? Or maybe he's envious at Scorn and Slug for having proper bending elbows? The use of translucent green is also an odd choice, but overall I like him. Jetfire cost me about as much as a Voyager would, but he's definitely the same height as a typical Leader toy like Animated Megatron. There's... actually not a lot to him at all, really. He's big but shockingly light. His missile launcher delights in shooting on practically a hair trigger though, and I was too lazy to go dig out the blasted missile from where it landed before taking the picture. Still neat, but I would have loved for his guns to have had their barrels painted black instead of entirely chromed red...

Today I had AOE Bulkhead, I mean, Hound, voyager class, nice figure thou improvements with the panels for his arms could of been done, to have them fold away more!

Generations Deluxe Rattrap and Tankor
Diancie event serial code for Pokemon X/Y

The Diancie serial code just unlocks the ability to receive the Pokemon in one game. Tankor is fun. The cannon is weird in how it works, and the pressure launch missile is a piece of junk, but Tankor is a great little toy. Rattrap is the third Scott McNeil character from Beast Wars to get a new figure, with Universe Dinobot being the first. Now if we could just get a new version of Fuzor Silverbolt, we'd just about have the whole set. The transformation takes some getting used to, but he's cool.

Third party goodness? You know it.



Mastermind Creations Reformatted R08 Azalea
Maketoys MTCombiner Series Quantron

Azalea is based on IDW Arcee, around the time of Spotlight: Arcee. Even includes an obvious nod of her in the comics killing Jhiaxus again and again and again... This mold is also used for (of course) a Paradron medic repaint minus the swords and shoulder bits, as well as for an Elita-1 lookalike and Solus Prime. Quantron is based on G1 Computron and the Technobots. It's very clear that Maketoys and FansProject share at least a few designers, as certain minor parts are very... familiar to those that have handled Multiplexer. Will definitely be interested in getting their next combiner: Guardia, based on Defensor. And perhaps a few other things from them.

...My wallet hates me...

But third parties LOVE you because you buy their products!

So my buddy calls me from Wally World and says they're selling Deluxe TF's 2 for $5! After that I went a-huntin' and found the rest of this shit.



The same buddy also told me they had toys at this bookstore called Books-A-Million (BAM). Overpriced mostly, kinda like Hastings used to be. I ended up finding these for $3 a pop.

I almost can't tell either. They taped them together plus I take a shitty picture. One should be Night Recon (or whatever) Bumblebee, Ratchet (who I LOVE) and Skystalker (who I hate). Not a big fan of Soundwave or Skokescreen either, but for $2.50 they're well worth it.

Skywalker is a good figure in some respects, at least he not a pointless retool of another figure to get kids interested, but clearly marketing and TV clearly failed to talk, by that I mean the only characters in the BH line to get figures were: Shockwave AKA his first and ONLY figure for TFP, Predaking, takes top for amount of figures, with a healthy number of 4, two voyagers, a leader and Cyberverse, then OP with the bad choice of head-sculpt, the mouth doesn't work for that figure and then the Predacons Rising Dark Steel (Grimwing repaint) and Skylynx (Sky Stalker repaint) thou they hardly look like their on screen counterparts (G1 toyline throw back idea maybe?) Lastly there was Smokescreen and Ultra Magnus, and Magnus in need of a better paint job with a darker blue!

Two bots, both packing an armory's worth of firepower. Each.

Generations 30th Deluxe Crosscut

Hound... Oh my god, Hound is so cool! Some say he'd make a better Bulkhead, and there's some merit to that, but I can still accept him as Hound. Crosscut is a repaint of Skids from the same line with a different head, and doesn't seem to suffer the same misassembly problem that Skids had. As I could never find Skids, I'll make do with this guy. Hope he doesn't die in the MTMTE comic... aw, who am I kidding? The shelves had Jhiaxus, Nightbeat, (using Bumblebee's mold) and Windblade as well. I may consider Jhiaxus to serve as a whipping boy for any Arcee that would like to beat the snot out of him, (and I liked the Armada Starscream mold he's a retool of) but I think I'll go the Takara route for Ms. Windblade due to the nicer colors.

Hound is awesome if you over look the panels on the hands!
