Good-bye crap-shack!

For the first time in my life, I'm a homeowner. I've (stupidly) rented this house since I was 19. After a whole bunch of setbacks, I signed the papers and wrote the check yesterday (and paid an outstanding water bill from the previous owner that somebody other than me was supposed to pay, but I was sick of fucking with it). I paid a little under $35,000. Cash. I had hoped to be in there months ago, and now I'm nut-deep in softball/t-shirt-needing-event season. I'm a screenprinter, for those who don't know. Needs a bit of work, but nothing major. These are just some quick pix I snapped. They make the inside look smaller than it really is, and they make the roof look old, which it isn't. The driveway is in an alley that no one uses, and I own the next lot. It's in a small town, but It's still nice not having neighbors right up my ass.

Nice, big rooms, looks updated, nice siding, looks like vinyl windows, and $35,000. Around my area that is a steal, it would be around $80,000 for that. Ownings the best :rockon:

I've seen some nice trailers I would have liked to live in. Its one of my favorite things at the state fair, walkin through the homes on display.

Living room long wall. It would be on the left of the second pic. I do plan to put my lunchboxes on that little wall thing above the kitchen.

I don't know where I will put my desk, but the printing will take place in the dungeon, as always.

It has a guest house! It looks kinda dirty, but it must be clean 'cause it says "sanitation" on the side.

No more pets. I used to have some gerbils, but then Galv came to visit, and I haven't seen them since.

Galv-you said I could tear down any wall so I did. My roof caved in. Thanks a lot. Why's everyone hatin on the green carpet? It's not shag or anything. I keep losing my pot! (credit to Galv for that joke)

There are 2 really killer places in there for a pool table. I'll have to see how much room my shit takes up. I might have to get one.
