A Japanese Takara D-98 Sixshot still MISB!

Was a gift to me from a good friend of mine over on the Realm... ;)

Box says Takara Co. LTD 1987 on the bottom left corner (front) but I'm going to assume this is the reissue.

How do you tell the difference between the original Japanese Takara release back in '87 from the Japanese Takara reissue back in '02? By looking at the box.....I'd have to break the seal to check the toy and that's not happening....

Here's what arrived today:

1) Diamond Elita-One Statue...very cool looking:











2) Reveal the Shield Rotimus Prime vs. Cyclonus:




3) Parallax Protecter Commander (Rodtimus Prime)

**COUPLE OF COMMENTS: This is an awesome overall design and greatly compliments the classic hotrod and converts him into Rodtimus Prime. Since I cannot afford the masterpiece rodtimus, this will have to be close enough.

***Only small gripes:

1) I cannot get the extended leg parts to stay attached in robot mode. Of course I am not able to use my classic version hotrod due to a broke off wing. For robot mode used the Reveal the Shield Rodtimus version. Maybe that is why they would not stay connected well?

2) The left rear tire section panel that ias removable and makes the extended feet did not want to stay reattached when back in vech mode.

3) The extra louver wings that attach to the front of the trailer section and rest above the car do not want to stay attached good. They keep popping off.

***Overall a good investment in spite. I had a bunch of credit for returns with BBTS I had forgotten about and used those to purchase this.

Awesome hauls Malboor WJ, especially the Elita..I love it.


I received some more energon cubes today and my
iGear Ark/Teletraan set arrived. Traditionally you see Teletraan’s terminal
positioned at the back wall but I found that to be a cluster @#$%, so I
positioned it elsewhere.

Anyway here is a quick snap shot of Soundwave
doing what he does best… making energon cubes and the Ark set with Kremzeek
giving Cliffjumper a hard time. In the corner ole Rodimus is in the corner
shooting the breeze with a Quintesson.

I grabbed the iGear set from Super_Megatron who is on Toy Ark, Cybertron.CA and countless other sites.

Very cool set Dai Atlas! Told you , you would like the IGears Teletran playset! Galvatron...love the Cyclonus figure! :)

I got my Vikor today and I am 120% satisfied with him. To be
honest he is probably my favorite figure so far out of the ones I have. He is
awesome and I love the broken bonds he is sporting as wrist bands. It is like
he just broke his bonds and is now gonna kick some butt.

Kup looks sweet, that rifle's awesome. I can't dig the Scourge, I don't like his wings. He looks too much like a jet and I liked how he looked like a boat before. He would make an excellent Alpha Trion custom, me thinks. Maybe Hasblow will re-color him!

I agree with Ramjet about the Scourge. But I'm probably gonna end up picking me up one or 2 or 3. I need more sweeps.

As most people know I am a big 80s fan and I love the music and television shows of that decade. My favorite show from back then was and is Miami Vice. So I came across these 2006 beauties on Amazon.com made by Mezco Toys. 6 inch tall, Detective James “SONNY” Crockett and Detective Ricardo “RICO” Tubbs.


Here is a closer look at Sonny’s alligator whose name is Elvis. I didn’t make that up it was his name on the show. We also take a look inside the briefcase which has a stack of money and a brick of cocaine on the inside, both can be removed. Finally a look at Sonny’s pack of cigs and Rico’s double barreled sawed off ready to be reloaded.
