....that's an epic haul right there! ...I'm just going to eat this popcorn, enjoy the show and live vicariously through you for a bit! And I think Hasbro's just as confused as we are when it comes to frenzy/rumble. And don't feel bad about getting eject/rewind confused, hell, I still do.

Rumble and Ravage are on the way now, then Frenzy and Buzzsaw. Laserbeak's already got some cracks in the wing hinges though...not sure if it's my fault or the toy's. (they haven't worsened, but they're rather tight and of the not rounded kind of hinge. So maybe I missed the cracks until just recently?) Those are coming with something logically...purple.

Man, that sucks about Laserbeak. :( Unless you send your MP Wave back to the e-tailer you bought it from, I'd imagine finding a replacement LB on the secondary market would be kind of tough, without it being a package deal and all.....

And I'm clued in on the clue, being from you who would've knew? Won't spoil the surprise though, I'll just say he cost a lot of dough.

Maybe you should just get a proper G1 Laserbeak, I mean, right from the start, he about the most show accurate toy from G1!

Laserbeak still holds up okay, as the cracks haven't worsened and nothing has outright broken. I'll just hope that Buzzsaw doesn't have or develop similar problems when I get him and Frenzy.

Had this little guy come in almost a week ago from CP! Can't wait for T-Bone (not Wildrider) to arrive next!

I'll try to get something up soon. I honestly just opened him up to check for QC flaws as some members over at TFW2005 were receiving Car Crashes with 2 of the same thighs, meaning the peg holes wouldn't line up properly for gestalt mode. Mine seems to have both a left and right thigh as the peg holes are on the inside of each thigh. FansProject is sending out replacement parts for those affected, though, so that's good customer support on their end.

Hopefully I won't have that when mine comes, evenly, of course, I still got to wait because I'm also waiting on the Crossfire 2 kits, I look forward to laying my hands on that, lessoned I've learned from my first ownership are:
1. Don't put combiner mode head into Onslaught Vehicle mode!
2. Don't really push the connections to Vortex robot mode on!

Reason for these lessons, simple, the plastic is weak, especially combiner mode head horns!

Odd. I can shove the Bruticus head into the vehicle mode spot just fine. I have had to tighten Explorer's hips due to the sheer size of the rifle weakening them to floppiness.

They go in but its rather weak on the horns to the point its close to breaking on my first one, as for tightening, I've not had to do that on my Explorer but then again, I haven't combined the combaticons in Bruticus in ages, Superion is the other way around, he hasn't been taken apart in ages, he just stood next to Tidalwave on my bookcase gathering dust!

....sweeeet! I'm REALLY jealous over that Quakewave and I'm not even a MP collector! Looking forward to that review as I'm on the fence on this one depending on how he'll scale next to MMC Sixshot. Did yours come with the extra set of hands and batteries?

For some reason, looking at that Quakewave, it kind of, feels out of scale, thou I suspect its just me on that or the picture make him look rather large, especially since its by Rumble and Ravage!

The hands have already been put on him. Batteries sadly aren't included. CR1025 for the arm, CR1020 or CR1025 for the head. Not that I can utilize the former, as I...broke the switch on the arm. Oh well. At least the one for the head is still intact, but I don't feel like trying to find batteries that aren't AAA or larger. And even then it's an expensive pain in the ass for features I probably won't use much.

He's ever so slightly shorter than MP-10, so he fits in perfectly fine with the modern Masterpiece figures.

I've read the batteries for this beast are a pain in the ass to find. If you change your mind and need any help trying to hunt some down, just let me know. And that sucks about the switch. It seems to be a pretty fragile area on him as this has happened to a lot of others, too.

The thing was really stiff, and I wasn't expecting to need to treat it more gingerly. Which I now do with the head's switch if I touch it. The rest of the figure is solid as can be.

CA-10: T-Bone (not-Wildrider) arrived today! I've transformed both him and Car Crash (not-Breakdown) a few times each and both my copies appear to be QC free! Loving these awesome, little guys! They can pull off some pretty mean poses too, but my camera was dying on me. Will have to review each of these at a later date. Holding off applying decepticon symbols until I have the entire set, so I know how the symbols will look in combined mode as well. Being these are scramble city, style limbs, I'll have a lot of critiquing to do once I go to applying symbol stickers.

I bought DOTM Leader Ironhide, I've been thinking about this guy for a little while, seeing him just sat on the shelf in my local toy store, yet to break him out of his box thou! I've also ordered from Ebay a pair of hands for my ROTF/DOTM leader class Optimus, when they come, it will enable me to have him strike a pose similar to a poster on my bedroom wall, where he pointing with two fingers!

Apply heat to Ironhide's neck, and give it a solid twist to break the glue holding it in place. Don't worry, it's not gonna go flying off.

A pretty epic retail haul, if I do say so.

It seems that Smokescreen doesn't get the swirly color plastic treatment that the other Deluxe figures seem to. Probably because like Shockwave, he's getting a figure for the first time in the Prime toy line as a whole. (in Hasbro's markets, anyway.) And mine has the most amusing flaw I've ever seen in a while...but I'll cover that when I review him.
