Rumor: Hasbro Asia reissues/re-releases

There's a couple of rumors floating around. The first is that Masterpiece Grimlock (MP-8 version) will see a Hasbro Asia re-release with no changes to deco or accessories for about $220 at the end of July this year. Link

The second is that Hasbro Asia will also be reissuing several odds and ends of figures including Star Saber, Dai Atlas, Optimus Primal, Galaxy Convoy (Cybertron Optimus), and Sonic Bomber. (Cybertron Wingsaber) Link

Keep in mind that these are merely rumors at this point. Take 'em with a grain or so of salt.

That tidbit of news has me a bit more interested at this point. The $220 price point is rather steep, though, hopefully it's the "King Grimlock" version with loaded accessories and fantastic box art. Otherwise, that's a hard pill to swallow. And something I'd have to budget and save for. With the rapid release patterns 3rd party companies have been showing thus far in 2013, more than likely there'll be something of interest eating away at any aforementioned budget. Making that purchase nothing more than a pipe dream.

It's MP-8, not MP-8X. Plus King Grimlock ditched all of his accessories that weren't his weapons in exchange for the crown. But I hear you on the pricey-ness. I still really want Grimlock...but $220 at this time is too rich for my blood, sadly.
