Things are going DOWN in Detroit. (TF 3 pics/possible spoilers!)

Wasn't sure where to post this, in Local Sightings or here, as it relates to the movies.

These are just some pictures taken around Detroit of the filming of TF3 that I thought someone here might be interested in checking out.

Hullo!! I know, right? I'm elusive. Like the mist. Actually, the EDC is keeping me pretty busy these days.

Glad you enjoyed the pics... and yeah, that's a booby bar it looks like. I don't think that's there though normally. I'll have to double check. *aherm* by going... Research purposes, you see.

No coma I was in! I told you, I was out building a space station! Which is considerably much harder with Decepticon slag in my way.

After doing a little research and meticulously clicking my way through Googlemap's street view of Downtown Detroit, I have discovered that yes. That is a booby bar. They must have changed the since since the Google-car had been by. Looks like a seedy good itme... >.>

And then I found this: Freep.com article with loads more pictures of stuff and explosions + exact intersections of where the filming is. (Wah wah~) Third picture in, see that awning? That's my boss' late husband's shoe store. There appears to be some suspicious activity taking place...

I'd also like to point out that I was at the shoe store one day and we kept seeing a car on trailer driving up and down the road. (example image) I wasn't sure WHAT they were filming at the time, but I'm pretty sure this is it. Anyways, I left to go pick up lunch from a pub around the block and ended up picking up a growler of beer as well. So, I hope I'm in the movie walking around in the background with a giant jug of beer. ("Yeah, there's giant robots everywhere. But I've got my priorities... Whatevs.")

Growler, aye?

"The Cobra". Sounds like it should be a male strip club. "The Trouser Snake"

A growler is 1/2 gallon jug used to transport draft beer. OM NOM NOM NOM. I think its only appropriate to get all liquored when the Robot Apocalypse happens.
