The guy didn't know if he wanted to let go of the whole TF lot, so I started picking out ones I wanted. We decided on the whole shebang (hole she bang?) so I'd say about a third are doubles, but most of those were better than the ones in my collection! Keeping about a third, trading/selling another third plus the doubles. I bought Octane/Tankor when he came out and hated him so I traded him. Kinda regretted it, but was mistaken because he really does suck. Same with Ani Swindle, but I must've been high cause it's really nice to have him back. What'll ya' gimme for Tankor?

BTW, Galv's avatar is Sky Lynx humping himself, I don't know if that's been acknowledged.

Agreed on Octane sucking. It was a half-hearted bid, so I'm not surprised I lost but I feel like (with Springer, Blitzwing & Sandstorm) all the triple changers will probably get revisited at some point by Hasbro and redone in the Voyager scale. Got a feeling Astrotrain's next. But for right now, Octane would fit in with my Classics seekers and Henkei Astrotrain and doesn't look half bad once you apply some Reprolabels to him:

Those "chrome" stickers make him look gooood! I wouldn't wanna go over $15 shipped, considering the stickers for him will run me $16 (shipped)

Who's the bot front and center? Looks like Twin Twist. Is that from the FOC Bruticus repaints (as Wreckers)? Also the bot/con on the far right looks interesting as well.

Its a bit of a pain to put the Gatling weapon into the robot's hands, mainly the small part on the top of the weapon, because its two very tiny parts, anyway, its a nice little kit because you get two guns, the one Sandstorm is holding in the picture and the magazine on that can detach to well mimic some human guns!

Dr Wu makes some great accessories for TFs, so far they show no sign of going into the third party figure market instead sticking to the accessories market, thou they mainly focus on TFP so far with a few exceptions like the sword based on concept art for one of the thirteen!

Yeah, only transformed him to robot mode once and back again so far, I need to add in the orange panels but their a pain to get in, hell the back pack you got to remove the screws just to be able to get it to lock onto his back, talk about not thinking the design through thoroughly, but mind you, the basic robot mode is a rip off of RTS G2 (Laser prime as he also known as) Optimus prime toy with a few modifications to it!

I've been wanting these since they first came out almost 2 years ago but never could come up with the cash, so I know what you're saying. They are pricey, and it wasn't until Takara started doing all the MP cars that I decided to splurge and get them. Takara probably will get around to doing Ironhide/Ratchet as they're both Season 1 bots, but "if" it turns out that iGears design or overall look for these two are better, then the aftermarket price will skyrocket even higher. Ratchet's already getting scarce (but TfSource just stock in at $129.99 for him) and I didn't want to take the chance of not finding them at all later on. You rarely ever see either of these figures used on Ebay, just because of how awesome they are. But you never know.....if/when Takara does decide to do these two, if they do an outstanding job, it'll lower the price for both these guys.
