Re: Masterpiece Toys
Well, we all heard news of Prowl hitting TRU here in the States, but now there's confirmation that MP Sunstorm is in TRU's system. So if this is a figure you've been after be on the lookout for it in your local TRU sometime soon this year!
Re: Masterpiece Toys
It's possible since they're getting Prowl, but I wouldn't expect to actually see them in TRUs until 2015.Galvatron wrote:what about Smokescreen and Bluestreak?

Re: Masterpiece Toys
Much as I like the look of it, I'm not going to get this MP Slag or the rest of the Dinobots as MPs, I'll settle for the NOT FOC figures that Planet X is producing!

I may have a hard time paying for him if he hits the "late March/early April" release date. The thing with Fans Toys is, though, is that they usually produce 2 or 3 runs. I was able to get Quakewave 10 months after his release on the 3rd run (with the add-on hands, laser canon) for retail price still....off Ebay (brand new) when most online retailers had sold out already. Just start saving a little bit at at time now, or sell a few figures here and there....you'll get him!

Sadly I'm kind of on that road but I'm cautious and not trying to buy loads, for the most part, I'm just sticking to accessories with the odd figure here and there, that being said, I got three complete third party combiners but with no plans for another! In other words the dark side of the TF world cannot completely rule me!

I'm working on a 4th. Most awesome looking one of them all too. Got 3/5 paid up for already, with the team leader set to release next month.SuperOmegaPrime wrote:I got three complete third party combiners but with no plans for another!
Re: Masterpiece Toys
That transformation is going to be pure sorcery. How'd they manage to get the tire on his back? It's "G1 accurate" but that had to of took some high level of engineering. Also glad to see we get a Spike with Exo-Suit, didn't really need him but I guess Takara felt the need to throw in an extra due to Bumblebee being smaller than the other MP cars but the price remaining the same.
Re: Masterpiece Toys
definatly wanting to get this guy. BB was my very first TF when I was 9 years old.
I still have the exact same one. 30 years later, we get an MP of the B

Re: Masterpiece Toys
I suspect the tyre on the back is going to be the spare wheel that Spike had to use back in the Ultimate Doom pt2

From what I read, its a removable mouth plate, yet I wonder, why the hell does he even have one to start with?

Re: Masterpiece Toys
I think you're right! Looks like it's inside the hatch in vehicle mode as that would also be the backpack in robit mode.SuperOmegaPrime wrote:I suspect the tyre on the back is going to be the spare wheel that Spike had to use back in the Ultimate Doom pt2

A nod to the original G1 Bumblebee face, maybe?SuperOmegaPrime wrote:Galvatron wrote:he has a replacement face also.

I'm still stupefied that there's actual want for Bumblebee period.
