it's too bad Hasbro/Takara is not going as fast as 3rd party companies are with MP figures.
Plus it's going to be interesting when Hasbro/Takara release an original MP figure that has already been a popular 3rd party figure. An example, the 3rd party company KFC has recently released an MP figure Transistor (aka Blaster). He comes with one cassette Hifi (Rewind). Other cassettes sold seperatly.

Transistor is a very sought out figure for any MP collector. After all, Soundwave and his minions need proper competition. Who else to answer that call than Blaster.

So what will happen to Transistor and his minions once Hasbro releases a real BLASTER figure?
If Hasbro is smart, they would jump on with that idea ASAP.
They could do like they did with Soundwave and include all of Blaster's cassettes.

It's wishful thinking for the moment, but it sure would be nice if Hasbro did this.
I own a few 3rd party Mps, and I feel that they are built better than Hasbro figures.
So owning a Transistor is not a bad thing at all. In fact, I'm thinking about getting one as well as his minions. Only problem with 3rd party is the $$$$$$$$$

Since the Hasblow / Takara version of MP Rodimus Prime has so many issues... has any 3rd party company tried to "master" the MP version of the Autobot failure?

There is one I read about the other day but its in the prototype stage currently and it will be just Rodimus, not Hot Rod included!

Anyway, just a couple of more days and Star Saber get released, I found a reasonable priced Ebay seller that includes postage, hopefully he shouldn't be hit by import fees but I expect if it does, it be cheaper than Kapow toys because you pay £7 odd for reserve price and then be expected to pay £130 - £140 when they have it ready to ship out! That retool of Wheeljack was meant to come out around the same time but I don't think he will ever make the market at least in mass, I expect that one is just one big headache for Takara!

My MP Star Saber arrived today. Cost me £93 total (£73+£20 shipping.) Can't put it down. It's the tits.

That's better than the one I ordered, but at the time it was the best deal all round, thou, I got to wait for him to be shipped out first, I'm paying £96.75 + £25.00 postage, its better than Kapow toys price but theirs includes about £7 reserve fee, of course, with the one I gone with, there is the risk of the import fee but only time will tell on that, at the mo, the estimated arrival date for mine is 17th of April, I can wait, I saw a video review of him the other day and he looks totally sweet, of course looking at it, makes me hope Takara does Victory Leo, there is no reason not to make a Victory Leo to go with him because to me it would make financial sense and please fans of Victory and MP figures alike!

You should watch it, its a enjoyable series, most of it is just stand alone eps but a couple follow on from one another, the Dino force are funny to watch, the series not without its darker moments like when God Grini sacrifices himself to protect Star Saber! The main villain is one of the more successful leaders of the cons, so you should watch the series, I bet you'll find it enjoyable, even if you haven't watched Masterforce, it doesn't matter!

Well, Star Saber flew in today, just before I went to work, so I spent the evening partly toying with him, overall, I'm impressed with this guy, I expect the designer found Star Saber more liberating than some of the other MP figures, with those, ones, your trying to mimic a realistic vehicle, Star Saber is different for sure yet they copied his look to a T and I really hope they make Victory Leo to make this guy even more impressive!

The flaws:
He has trouble holding his sword when you want the blade thin side to face forwards, much like a real sword is likely to be held!
The long sword blade, just doesn't feel long enough, needs to be a bit bigger
getting Saber (the jet robot), he is tricky to get into place in the combined robot mode chest area and just as tricky to remove.

Upon close inspection, I can see where Victory Leo would be likely to connect is, so I bet takara has likely green lighted a Victory Leo already, I mean if they haven't, they'll be fools because I can see it working very well for him. Also what are the chances of MP Star Saber being repainted in orange as a homage to that one scene in Victory's conclusion where he and VL go into the fortress and unleash everything to destroy it?

For that, you need a MP Galvatron, who yet to had been made by Hasbrot/Takara or any third party company!

I've heard rumor of a MP Galvatron. I hope they do me justice (who ever makes it)

I guess it should be mentioned that MP-25 is Tracks, 26 is Road Rage, (retool of Tracks and the first female Transformer in the Masterpiece series) 27 is Ironhide... (he splits up to have the battle sled of the original toy. Expect a Ratchet retool shortly after) and MP Optimus Primal is going to be a thing some point in 2016. All that's shown of Primal is his beast mode, which forsakes realism in favor of being the CGI gorilla from the show.
