Universe GALVATRON

IMO, the only good thing this toy has is the simularity to the G1 cartoon. But that's only in BOT mode.
The tank mode is really awesome!!

In tank mode he's very beautiful,and so also in robot mode; I don't usually move my robots, I give them a classic standing pose and I leave them on a shelf....if I give to Galvatron a normal pose he shouldn't have arms that fall apart from joints,am I correct?......
I know that some pieces of this recent toylines can fall during transformation ,it happened to me first time that I changed Henkei Tankor/Octane but at least we can always tie them again without problems :) .

For me this Galvatron has some troubles but also good aspects in both modes and it's not expensive...I could buy after all,what do you think?

This is weird....mine doesn't fall apart much anymore. When I first got him, he was a triple changer. He transformed from a tank to pile of rubble to a robot. I put him on his shelf for a long time, then I went to play with him one day, and NOTHING fell apart! His left arm pops off every now and again, still. It's probably all the dust in my house clogged his joints and holds him together. Same reason I won't wash my truck! ;) I'd get him Scrapper. Good toy, looks cool with Cyclonus, the "Versus" Megatron (green Classics tank) and Cybertron Unicron. I used to have pics, but I lost them.

I'm definatly going to go roll my"self" in the dirt and clog up all my joints.

SCRAPPER I suggest you get the figure.
It's a great looking toy, just difficult to transform (unless you roll it in mud)
Depending on how you want to pose him on your shelf, he is very back heavy.
Be aware of that he is difficult to pose.

Honestly, TFU Galvatron is one of the worse TFs in the classics/Universe/Generations line, thou I have him, in my collection, I rarely touch him because frankly, he feels as if he was meant for grander schemes but got reduced to a puny deluxe when clearly, he is meant to be a voyager class toy! I really hope some point, in the near future, Hasbro & Takara has another crack at Galvatron and not make the mistake of leaving him as a deluxe that bad in design and execution, nor should he be reduced to another repaint of a Megatron toy! Cyclonus and the Sweeps, are a lot better toys!

I still have my Universe Galvatron MOSC. Probably stay that way too. I wouldn't hold out hope for Hasbro to do one anytime soon. We might get one eventually in the Masterpiece line but I really only see Takara willing to work with that particular mold. Dunno...I'm a big fan of 3rd party Transformers and I'd put my money on those guys giving us a perfect Galvatron before anyone else.

if they do, put one a nice shiny one aside for me!!!

I believe a third party is working on a Galvatron figure which I think will be more in scale with the classics, but I don't know the name of that company!

I think you're thinking of the one teased/hinted at by a lesser known 3rd party company called X-Transbots. They showed pics on the back of their Glider and Wildchild packages.

I think both Wildchild is a white repaint of Glider, which is also sold by X-Transbots.
