Considering the fact its an unoffical Masterpiece Megatron, then yes, copyright thingy comes into play, As for the name Apollo is one of 12 the Greek gods, thou I don't really see the relationship between Megatron and Apollo, if they used Aries, god of war, it might make more sense!

yes it's because of copywright purposes. They cannot use the name Megatron or the word TRANSFORMERS.

The name Appollyon can be translated as destroyer. Apollyon was the same name of the god of the Sun known to the Greeks, known as Apollo or Apollon. The god Apollo acted as the destroyer of evil, but he was also a bringer of doom. He was also known as the god of purification, who sees and hears all things because he was associated with the sun.
